Bought it on a whim and boy am I glad I did! It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. Has a “pink” hue to it and that gives my skin just a touch of glow. Love that it has SPF 30 in the cream. I receive many compliments on how my skin looks and I will be 50 in a few months. BUY THIS and NO I get no money from this review!! LOL 🙂

I have been using this product for several years. So this year I was delighted to find it with SPF30, only to find extreme itch after about 3 hours and until I completely cleanse. This morning however, I tried the same product, without SPF.

I was attracted by a review saying a famous older woman owed her dewy skin to this product. It’s pretty, smells nice, and a little goes a long way. It’s a bit heavy, but leaves my skin feeling soft. But honestly, I don’t see any improvement.

I was so surprised at how much I loved this new face cream. This one is a winner for sure. It is very thick (not runny and watery thank goodness) . You use much less than expected. But what’s wonderful is the texture and the “rosy-ness” that it imparts. I put it on freshly washed skin and found that you do need to really take time to rub in into the skin. As you do, it miraculously starts giving you a slight amount of coverage and glow to your face. Once it dries it looks mildly luminous and has a soft-to-the-touch feel. Can be used as an around-the-house or low makeup day because of the light coverage. Because of the light coverage aspect, one would need very little amount of your regular foundation to get full coverage. This product is definitely for mature skin that is not oily. But for those of us who are on the regular to very dry skin it’s a winner. This product is the day cream version with spf. I also purchased the night cream version and its lovely as well.

I ordered this because I kept seeing ads for Bobbi Brown’s new product but the reviews were mixed and the product provides no sun protection. I have not purchased “drugstore” skin care in many, many years, other than Cetaphil, until this item and I really like it. It’s a silky cream that soaks into my skin, has a 30spf, and has caused no breakouts or other issues (my skin is moderately sensitive). It’s not greasy or sticky. There is a scent, but it’s a pretty typical 1970’s makeup scent that does not bother me and dissipates quickly (I put it on my hands and my hands do not have a scent five minutes later). And it’s in a glass jar, not plastic, so I can recycle it.

Like the cream and the slight rosy effect, however for me, having an oily T-zone this is a bit heavy for spring and summer. It’ll be ideal in the cold winter months when my skin is dryer and paler looking.
