I was skeptical but one month of using these on my (recent) c-section scar has resulted in a significant improvement in the appearance of my scar vs three months of using bio oil. My scar is much lighter now! It was still an angry red when i started using these sheets. I wear the scar sheets pretty much all the time but I do take them off every few days for half an hour to do cupping of the scar.

I got these after having surgery to set a broke forearm and lower leg. I think they helped, but it was difficult to keep them stuck on the scar over my knee and on my shin. They were much cleaner and easier to deal with than rubbing a scar oil into my skin three times a day (great because I have four major scars I was treating), but in the end I gave up on using these on my knee/shin since they rolled off with movement or wearing loose pants.
These stayed much better on my forearm, and the length was just enough to cover both my long scars.
I did not expect these or any OTC scar treatment to completely remove my scars. They are doozies. But I do believe these helped flatten the keloids on my inner forearm scar.
I know it says don’t shower with them on but it was a pain to take them off and they stayed on just fine in the shower so do with that what you will.

I had a large area of skin cancer removed from my shoulder 5 months ago and it left a very substantial and large scar line. I was recommended by my plastic surgeon who did the repair to use these silicone scar sheets to help the scar heal and to help with minimizing the raised/bumpy areas of it. I found these on Amazon with good reviews so decided to go with it. I will admit, I was skeptical about seeing the results after just one use but much to my pleasant surprise…I actually DID see some results in just the first day! I’ve been using them for almost 5 months now and I am so pleased with the results. The scar line is almost flat at this point in time with just the worst spot still a bit bumpy. The color has minimized some also, but I believe that will take longer. After I use my strips, my scar feels smoother and softer and just feels better. The strips are super easy to use, just peel and press along scar line. They are easy to cut to shape also if needed. I have to cut one into two pieces to fit because I have a zig-zag to the lower part of the scar. They stick right on and super easy to take on and off. Very comfortable and light and they are breathable and flexible. I wear them on the round of my shoulder and it is no issue at all. They last just about 2 weeks then need to be changed. I have another month to go per my doctor’s recommendation. I just had my last post-op check and my doctor and nurse said that my scar looked the best that it possibly could at this point in time. They were so pleased and happy at how my scar was healing! I could not give this product a higher star rating and review. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The straps were of good size and width to cover the scar. They were easy to apply and I was able to cut them down to the size to fit the scar. They adhered to the skin well. They were reusable after showering as advertised.

After three years my c-section scar was still angry, inflamed and slightly keloid. I could tell a huge difference after one week of use. It’s been two months and there is no more inflammation. The length of my scar has significantly shortened. Wish I would have known about this product three years ago. For reference, I’m African American and in my late thirties.
