First of all, this is presented in a beautiful rustic wooden box that can definitely be reused again! I was really impressed with all the wonderful goodies that comes with this set (eye mask, fuzzy socks, scented candle, bath bomb, bath soap, shower sponge, hand towel, and mug). My favorite has to be the ceramic mug. It’s large, feels substantial, and has such a beautiful design, especially when you flip the bottom (see photo)!

I was disappointed that this gift box came with strips of wood broken off of each side of the box. Since the little wooden crate is part of the presentation and giftability, this was really a shame. I wanted to use this as a raffle prize for my daughter’s school fundraiser, and I’ll have to repackage the items to be able to do that. Likewise, anyone buying it as a ready-made gift would have to get additional packaging of some kind.
The actual items inside the crate are pretty nice. They’re heavily scented- a basil citrus candle, a mint bath bomb, and an aloe vera hand soap. There’s also a mug and loofah, a hand towel, fuzzy socks, and an eye mask, all of which seem middle-of-the-road in quality. It would be a nice enough gift if the box wasn’t broken.

I didn’t like the fact that I paid for the box and it arrived broken. It’s difficult to review an item if it arrives in pieces that I had to glue together.

I’ve ordered at least 5 pre-set gift boxes and this one is easily the best. The fact that it comes in a wood and not cardboard box is a starter. It immediately gives a luxe feel that I would be proud to gift. Slide back the wood top and the smell is glorious. It’s not an eye watering eucalyptus smell. It’s a clean, earthy scent that has eucalyptus but isn’t a punch in the face. I didn’t have to rearrange it to make it look nice. It was perfectly prepared to be opened and appreciated immediately. I seriously have nothing bad to say. All the pieces feel and look like good quality. No cheap fabrics, or messing stitching, no loose threads or crooked labels. It feels like it was made with care and consideration for the giver and the recipient. Very pleased.

This gift box comes in a wonderful appearing and feeling wooden box with a slide top lid. It has a nice smooth divot to hook a finger in to pull back. Inside each of the items look carefully and beautifully arranged with clean, simple packaging. The bottom of the box contains a significant amount of crinkled paper to keep everything protected and not jostled around. The items included are all items that most people would enjoy without being too personalized but enjoyable.

Not to split hairs but calling this a 10-Piece set seems to be stretching things a bit. To get to 10, you have to include the little note card & the box itself. To me, it’s an 8-piece set of items.
Think back with me now to the big box stores at Christmas time. Recall how there’s at least one aisle of pre-packaged presents. Jams, jellies, hot sauces, toiletries, coffees all packed as assortments for those who just don’t have the time to create their own personalized groupings. To me they’re always a bit on the cheap looking side of gifts even though they may be rather pricey.
I was anticipating this box being like that. I’m happy to report that the whole thing is definitely a step above most pre-selected assortments. In a pinch, I’d be okay with presenting this to a friend who’s perhaps just come home from a hospital stay or something like that. The included products don’t project low quality at all.
The main thing I’d change would be to move the label that lists everything included to the bottom of the box rather than right on the very front side. And, I’d be more forthcoming as to what all you receive… An 8-piece spa set in a wooden presentation box with a card for gifting. Not a 10-piece set.

I am thrilled with the quality of this spa gifts package. The wooden box is beautiful, large, and will make a great keepsake box after the products are removed from it. As soon as you slide the lid off, the items inside look beautiful and delicately arranged in the white crinkled paper shreds. It’s also great that you get a whiff of wonderful scents when you slide the cover off. I like that the contents are all pretty, coordinated shades of blue and green. It is very feminine.
There is a greeting card that you can fill out for your recipient. The items in the box are of very nice quality. The sleep mask is generously sized and silky. The hand towel is all cotton with a pretty pattern and it is wrapped in a bow. The fuzzy socks are thick and soft. The mug is generously sized with a silky shower sponge tucked inside.
I particularly like the scented products. The products smell high-end, like Crabtree and Evelyn products. The candle smells amazing with a lime, basil and citrus fragrance. The bath bomb is very pretty and it smells refreshingly minty. The green aloe vera soap also smells lovely. It was the only item that had a minor flaw: there was a little smudge on the label. Absolutely no big deal. I think the price is very fair for such beautiful items in a keepsake box.
This self care gift is for a friend of mine, Deb, who just lost one of her dogs to cancer. Within a week, she adopted a blind rescue dog that is deemed a hospice dog due to health issues. The poor dog had lived her whole life, 9 years, in a bathroom. My friend never complains about having to potty-train her, help her find her way around the house, teach her how to walk on a leash, etc. Instead, she tells me about the joys the little dog has brought her, how the dog relishes going outside, delights in trying new foods, loves being brushed, and most of all, cherishes sleeping with my friend. If anyone deserves a box of self-care items, it is Deb.
