On a cruise line, this was the facial exfoliator they used. Was told that sugar scrubs are abrasive. If you look under a microscope, sugar crystals are jagged and are tearing at your skin cells on your face when you use those. Using this enzyme peel, makes it so that the dead skin cells are gently being “eaten” away.
Smells wonderful, makes my skin so soft and glowy after using.
In winter, I get dry patches of skin on my face and this along with the lavender toner helped to eliminate that problem.

I have never tried a mask that didn’t leave my skin feeling as if the life was being sucked out, dry and even drier after removing it. Elemis is amazing. I live in a dry climate, and suffer from dry skin, but my skin doesn’t feel terrible even while leaving the mask on for 15 minutes as directed. It feels like moisture is penetrating my skin. I’m impressed.

Use 3 times a week, leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse. It works beat this way. Apply SOS cream after. I’ve worked around Skincare and cosmetics for years and this brand is the only one that has worked on my sensitive skin. Great for all ages. My aesthetician uses it and recommended it. Start early if you can! I thought my skin was oily because I was breaking out all the time so I was drying it out with ALL KINDS of expensive stuff. Come to find out that I’m dry and my skin was over producing oil to compensate hence the acne. Elemis cleared it up in about three months to get all the congestion out. Amazing. It works on ANY type of skin. I got it for my mom and my aunt. It improves the texture of the skin as well!

The end result is good. My skin glows nicely. However, this peel acts more like a mask. I’ve used it 3 times so far and I don’t know if the peel is actually doing anything for my post acne marks. But my skin feels and looks great after each use, I’ll rate this again after I finish the tube.

I was wary to spend a little extra on a beauty product but I’m a return customer with this Elemis mask. As others have said, its not a “peel” but it is full of enzymes that naturally and gently exfoliate your skin. I was shocked at how even my skin tone looked immediately after use and it leaves your skin super soft!
