I’ve known about Malin+Goetz for years living within blocks of their flagship Manhattan store, but I didn’t get to try their products until I stayed in a hotel. While several people have mentioned that the scent strength isn’t the same as the hotel products I can say that my purchase was indeed the same potency. Either the company noticed the reviews or perhaps you received a bad batch. Anyway this lotion moisturized my skin so well and the effects lasted over 24 hours. The rum scent is magnificent and I can’t get enough. I will definitely be ordering again. While it’s in line with other top designer brand skincare the price ends up being worth it for the effects.

I ordered this after staying in a hotel that featured this brand and fell in love with it. Based on the bottle, the one I received was packaged in 2014, and definitely smells like it. Pretty disappointed.

I bought this because I tried the body wash version of this scent at a hotel. I immediately loved it and looked it up as soon as I got home. I chose to get the lotion over the body wash because in my opinion it has a bit of a manlier scent. Also, a little bit of lotion goes a long way. I highly recommend.

If you can get past the cost… The lotion is moisturizing and feels great. I love the scent because it works for both myself and the male members of my home. It’s a little spicy just a touch of sweet which is a nice departure from other typical island scents that have any type of coconut in them. I do wish it lasted a little bit longer but I love having this product and this brand in my bathrooms as well as guest bathrooms. It adds a nice touch to the house.

I love this moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling very silky and moist but never greasy. I never worry about getting it on my clothing because it absorbs into the skin so well. Never an allergic reaction and I am sensitive. Yes there is a scent but I don’t even begin to know how to describe it, It is beyond great. I’m addicted to the scent. In my opinion it’s good for both male and female. No, it is not cheap. I probably would have never spent this much on a moisturizer if I hadn’t gotten to try this brand at a hotel I was staying at. Brilliant marketing, let us try this highly addictive product for free and then we are willing to buy it. Thank you Malin and Goetz for such a wonderful product. Please keep making your perfect products. I also love the soap and I am going to try the dark rum perfume oil next. I highly recommend.
