I was actually shocked in the performance of this. I noticed just a few days after using this my pores doesn’t seem as clogged as before. Usually in the night I could feel my skin needs to be exfoliated, but since I been using this I feel like my skin is very plump and doesn’t have that textured feeling. It absorbs really well and I really think it’s helping my face absorb my other products way easier.

This vitamin c + ferulic acid is the real deal. Easily comparable to “luxury” brands, as the absorption & moisturizing factor are top notch. There’s no stickiness left behind, just glowing skin. It does have a slightly unfriendly smell to it as others have stated, but you get used to it. Mine came as a light clearish yellow color. First time use did irritate slightly but have had absolutely no issues since that first night.

I don’t have sensitive skin, I don’t have acne prone skin. I have a fairly resilient skin that has never reacted negatively to a product, yep, I swear. Until I tried this product, of course. With this serum, I experienced painful fairly large acne. The kind that leaves a scar mind you. Some are fading but a few are persistent, it’s been a couple of months since I stopped using this product, and I am back to not having acne but I’m a bit traumatized by the whole thing. At first I thought it was a “purging” or whatever, learned that word after researching what the heck could be going on, but no, this product gave me deep, initially internal, large, acne that took weeks to heal. Now, I can’t possibly say with 100 % certainty that this was the culprit but I broke out shortly after starting and I stopped breaking out shortly after stopping the use of the product. I have lived decades of my life entirely acne free btw, so take that as you will. I for one am never putting this on my skin again! It was sooo expensive too, what a waste.

I’ve increased the review to three stars based on customer service. I didn’t reach out to them either, they contacted me freely and offered to remedy my disaffection without asking for anything in return. Kudos to the company

I have been using skinceauticals CE Ferulic for years and love everything about it but the price which ranges from 150-180 dollars for a one ounce bottle. I bought this Brandefy bottle on a whim just to compare the two side by side. I really expected this to be a cheap sub quality substitute, but was quite amazed to find this appears to me to be the exact same formula used by Skinceauticals for 27 dollars. Same consistency and color, same smell, same results. Even tested it when left for a period of time exposed to air. When exposed to air skinceauticals will turn to a dark brown color, so does this product. Feels the same on my skin and results appear the same.
