The sunscreen lotion from Raw Love works nicely as sunscreen when out at the beach. I really like the design on the bottle, and have been trying to preserve it just because it looks so cute on my shelf haha, but after using it a few times, I can safely say it’s a great sunscreen lotion product

This sunscreen is thick. I love that it’s unscented. This is more for use when you’re around water versus everyday use. It has a slight white cast, but that just means it has to absorb more. The white cast did eventually fade.

In althea desert sun this is a must have. Left my skin feeling nice, not overly greasy or heavy at all. Smells nice but not overpowering. Definitely works well and easy to apply.

I was excited to try the Raw Love Mineral Sunscreen because I try not to use harmful chemicals on my body. I love that the ingredients are organic and reef-safe so I can feel good about using them. The sunscreen uses zinc oxide, and like many mineral sunscreens, is thick and can be difficult to rub in. I found it left a slight white cast on my skin, even though I am very fair-skinned. It also left a tacky feeling on my skin, but this calmed down after awhile. It does not have a distinctive, bothersome scent like many sunscreens. I wore it when in direct sun for hours both walking around outside and at the beach without getting sunburned. I would not recommend it for fidgety children who probably won’t sit still long enough to rub it in properly, but me myself, it was great.

This sunscreen will definitely give you a bit of a white cast. But it seemed to work well when we tested it out at the beach. And I love that it’s reef safe and made of some more natural ingredients. It would be a little heavy to use on your face on a regular basis, but for long days outside in the sun, or beach or vacation days, it’s pretty good!
