Honestly this stuff is definitely unisex cuz I have used it on my own skin and I am female. It does an amazing job getting any leftover makeup that may be in my pores even after I thought I had cleansed well. It dries quickly and I can tell there is some moisturizing benefits leftover since my skin does not feel super tight or itchy afterwards. Overall this works well and would be great for really any skin type to use .

Lab series is a great company from the UK for men skin care products, they are quality products and that’s why the price is higher than others. This toner lotion has a good consistency, it is different from your typical toner, toner is usually a clear watery solution, this is an essence that doubles as a tonic skipping one step in your routine, it cleanses the remaining impurities well without stripping your face and leaving it dry, the essence helps with moisturizing and hydrating. My husband really likes this brand and this product in particular.

The Good: Actually seems to work. Makes a good aftershave lotion, and leaves skin feeling more hydrated for several hours, despite having some alcohol in it. Evaporates fast, skin does not feel “slimy” at all.
The Bad: nothing. Maybe price? I don’t know fair market values for men’s skin toner.
I’m in a fairly hot & dry climate, so it might be different in a hot & humid climate, but this did make a difference to my skin.

There is absolutely no need to genderize skincare. The product is fine, but there are Korean toners that are a quarter of the price and work better. I do not feel that the value proposition is here on this – it’s way overpriced, I am of the belief you are just paying for the male-oriented marketing.

Although the price is a bit higher compared to other products, the quality is well worth it. Seeing the word “lotion,” you might expect something thicker. This has a much thinner consistency than traditional lotion (hence the “toner” I guess), which is actually nice for those of us who have use for a product like this but don’t necessarily need or want a thick cream on our faces.
This is a pleasant smelling and feeling product to use, and is a nice little something extra to add into your morning routine.
