I LOVE a good sugar based body scrub. This one has a great texture and the scent is fine. I learned early on that any scrub with oil in it is going to be too slippery for my tub or tub/shower. Instead, I use them in my walk-in showers because they have pebble tiled floors which provide great traction. However, this scrub is very, very slippery and even my pebble tiles were no match. I didn’t fall or anything but I could definitely feel my feet slip slightly a few times. So, definitely be careful when using. And, be extra careful if you use a mat in your shower, those can be just as slippery. You might end up riding your mat like a skim board, but your skin will be very, very soft.

I absolutely love this body scrub, it smells wonderful and it makes my skin feel super soft and extremely moisturized after I use it. I tested test the second it came because I’ve seen a few mixed reviews saying that it was oily or that the smell was offputting. If we’re looking for a body scrub that only exfoliates then this one probably isn’t going to be for you. If you’re looking for a body scrub that smells like strawberries and cream or cotton candy then this probably isn’t for you.
If you were looking for a body scrub that cleans and exfoliates and moisturizes your skin with oils and has a raw coco butter scent then you’re going to love this one. As someone who uses Shea butter and coco butter and has the majority of her life this smells exactly how I thought it would. It smells warm and a little nutty and if you’ve ever bought raw coco butter from a small business owner or a beauty supply store this smells like that. To me the oil left over after the scrub is rinsed from my body is a plus because I can dry off and get back to whatever else I need to do instead of slathering on creams and oils to nourish my skin. The smell in my opinion after drying off is very faint and goes well with any of my gourmand fragrances. If you want something less moisturizing that’s only a scrub and not a moisturizer the tree hut sells plenty of scrubs like that but this is a body polish so it’s going to do a little more, plus it’s silicone free, cruelty free and vegan?! What else could you ask for? I’m sold.

This product definitely has its own unique sent to it. I cannot personally compare it with anything that I have smoked before. I do like it.
This has a very generous amount of oil in the body polish. Something that for me personally is a must. I like body scrubs that when I rinse off have a little bit of oil residue left over. Once I step out and pat dry it does not fill it all sticky or greasy. It makes my skin feel very well moisturized.
Products that have a lot of oils in them it’s important that you take a minute to stir them. Otherwise as you get towards the end of it you’ll have a goopy oil mess and not as much sugar left over.
So what does a five-star body polish look like to me? I’m going to need to have a generous amount of oil in the product so the sugar doesn’t feel super dry on my skin. I want to get out of the shower feeling like I have a little product left on me. And when I say product I mean oil not the sugar.
I also like the smell to linger on my skin. The sugar is like any standard sugar scrub very fine and texture. If you are new to sugar scrubs think of table sugar which is about what the size of this sugar granular is.
The box known it’s cruelty, gluten, paraben, paraffin, vegan, sulfate, silicone and phyhalate free.

So the co-founder of this product is Siva anyla who is a lifestyle blogger. It appears she first created with this brand is self tanner and then moved into other body products. The products are formulated and developed in Los Angeles but doesn’t say specifically where it’s manufactured.
Some of the other products includes self-tanning creams, self-tanning face drops, body cream, & lip balm.
The website shows a lot of very high reviews for all of their products. I give this product a five star as it is exactly what I would be looking for and a body scrub. I definitely will be sad when this runs out.
