I am a self-proclaimed skincare connoisseur, so when I saw this product, I had to try it. Salicylic acid is the active ingredient in this serum and spot treatment (a BHA: Beta-hydroxy acid).
I’ve been using the serum at night about 1–2 times per week, in lieu of my usual night treatment, and I use the spot treatment as needed.
Caudalie is a nice brand and they make quality products. Salicylic acid is a long-used skincare ingredient, so this product is worth a try.

I have 2 problem areas under my chin. I’ve used salicylic acid treatments before but they don’t do much. This serum adds additional ingredients to the salicylic acid and it does wonders. In only a few days, my face looks better! It is also very convenient. It’s not a wash that has to be rinsed off or a liquid that needs an applicator. It is a very smooth and light gel that is simply wiped on the skin. I immediately felt a tingling and cooling action. The fragrance is also very light and appealing.

Caudalie is a well-known premium brand, and it sources some excellent skin ingredients. However, the scent of both of these products was overwhelming even when testing on the back of my hands. Something in the fragrance makes me cough and irritates my eyes.
It’s really a shame since salicylic acid plus soothing ingredients that this contains normally helps my skin when I experience some troubles.

This Vinopure Targets Acne-Prone Skin Set is another great product from the Caudalie brand. The set comes with a 1 oz bottle of serum and a 0.5 oz tube of Targeted Salicylic Solution that can be used to spot treat skin imperfections. I have mature, combination, sensitive skin that tends to breakout on my forehead and upper cheek areas, so I used this serum in those areas specifically and then dotted the Targeted Solution onto a few spots I had on my chin. This combo cleared those areas up quickly, without drying out my skin and left my skin looking smoother. The set is nicely packaged and would also work as a gift set.

I am reviewing the Caudalie Vinopure Targets Acne-Prone Skin Set. This set includes a full-sized Caudalie Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Serum and Caudalie Vinopure Color Correcting Spot Solution with Salicylic Acid for the price of just the serum, making it a great deal if you use these products.
The serum has no added fragrance, but does have a floral/herbal smell from the scents of its ingredients. It does have potentially irritating ingredients like peppermint oil, linalool, and limonene. I like the gel texture of the serum, although it does take a bit of extra time to absorb into my skin. This serum does have effective acne-fighting ingredients and does seem to do a good job of making pores look smaller.
The targeted solution is what I like best. I tend to get small breakouts, so being able to apply a solution directly to the problem area and not the rest of my skin works for me. This solution contains similar potentially irritating ingredients. Still, it worked on a small travel-related breakout I had. I also like that the green color helps neutralize the red of blemishes.
While this set helped clear up a breakout I had, I don’t think I would use it with sensitive skin. But it is a good set for normal skin.

This serum is really lightweight and absorbs quickly. I like the feeling of it on my skin. I appreciate the twist-lock pump.
The spot-treatment comes in a small tube, and using only a small amount seems to work fine.
After using this serum daily for about a month, I haven’t noticed any change/reduction in my skin’s problem areas when only using the serum. I have noticed slight improvement where I’ve also used the spot-treatment.

I have fairly sensitive skin and this didn’t cause any irritation. I have actually noticed that my skin looks a lot more even since starting use so it doesn’t just help with acne! The smell is a bit strong but doesn’t cause any problems and goes away pretty fast so I don’t mind it. The combination of the all over serum and the targeted spot treatment works really well as you can focus on active spots and prevent future ones. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter has been using this set for two weeks. It has worked very well with her skin without drying it out. Her skin looks so nice and refreshed. She loves the scent and how easy this is to use and gives her great results.
