  1. FFH

PERFECT ONE Lifting Gel, Japanese Skin Care. This gel comes with all the ingredients need it for a face routine. The gel is a little heavy but not that much to feel uncomfortable on my face. Not sure if it works, I need to use it longer but so far it’s good.

I like the fact that this product comes with a spatula, but that’s about where the positives end at this time. It’s a very heavy moisturizer, and I started to break-out with blemishes within a week of using this product. That’s of course not something I tolerate from a facial care product, so I’m discontinuing my trial for now. I will likely try it again in winter, when dry skin can be a real issue…and perhaps the heavy moisture will be welcome. If I find that I have good results at that time, I will update this review.

This is so moisturizing without being heavy on the skin. It has helped with the fine lines on my face and the overall texture of my skin. I love that it has 2 amazing skin care ingredients in one product. 10/10 recommend.

Okay, I really do enjoy this product. First of all, I love that it is an all-in-one type of cream. Not every day do I have the time to apply 5+ products to my face. So this works so well for days I need to be quick. I did take one star away because it tends to take time to absorb into the skin, leaving a bit of a residue, which I am not a big fan of personally. But once it does fully absorb/dry, my skin feels nourished.

This gel cream is supposed to take the place of everything else that one would use like serum and eye cream. I don’t find that to be the case for me. The product is nice and silky and it does hydrate well. One of top ingredients is dimethicone which is silicone that gives skin and even hair a very soft slip feeling but doesn’t really do a whole lot. The ingredients list of this cream is the longest I’ve seen on any cosmetic product. A lot of it is natural stuff but there’s a lot of things I’ve never heard of either in there. But it’s very gentle and good for sensitive skin. It can feel a little bit sticky on my skin for a while. I still use my regular serums and I also use Retin-A first. I then may use a night cream with this cream over it because it seals everything in nicely and adds extra hydration. Sometimes I just use this as my night cream. I do still use an eye cream.

I don’t think the price is too high for this cream. It’s right on par with many similar moisturizers. I have not had any stinging or breakouts or other negative issues with it so I’m not going to stress how many ingredients there are in it but I admit, I do like products with fewer ingredients that I know and understand. In all though, I like the way my face feels when I use this cream and, if I use just a small amount, it looks and feels great before I put on my primer and makeup. It’s good for dry skin. I’m going to rate it four stars but I’m not sure if it’s just going to give me hydration or address fine lines and evenness of skin tone yet because I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks. I waited several weeks for it to get here and was eager to try it.

The Perfect One Lifting Gel is really more of a cream, or even a gel-cream. The texture is nice, and absorbs quickly. I didn’t even realize this had retinol in it, because usually my skin reacts negatively to retinol, and this cream didn’t bother it at all! My skin has been having a bit of a rough time since having reacted horribly to a chemical face sunscreen, so I have been trying out my various creams to see which seem to help the most. This Japanese cream has really been a wonderful addition to my nighttime routine lately. The scent is mild, the texture light, and it moisturizes and provides my skin with some radiance, which is quite the accomplishment right now, considering how dry and burned looking & feeling my skin has been feeling. This has helped hydrate my face better than many other products, and the texture really agrees with me.

This moisturizer is nice, but it does leave an oily feeling on my face. Otherwise easy to apply and I love the compact container.

  8. Kristen

This is supposed to be an all-in-one skincare routine. I’m not sure if it really replaces everything else, but my skin does look great when using only this product. I find it a little heavier than I’d prefer and it leaves a slight film in the morning (it’s super humid here and I tend to sweat off anything that doesn’t absorb immediately), so I’ve only been using it at night. I think it works better than some of the pricier face moisturizers I’ve tried.
