Serum – Liquid gold, it says it takes a bit to really kick in, but I have seen some really good line smoothing from this already.

Pros:
1. No Added Fragrances: I appreciate that it doesn’t have any added smells, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
2. Quick Absorption: My skin absorbs it really quickly, which is great for my routine.
3. Unique Color: It has a very interesting color, adding a unique touch to my skincare collection.
4. Hydrating Effect: After washing my face in the morning, my skin feels bright and deeply hydrated.
Cons:
1. Price: At $70, I find it quite expensive. There are similar products available at a more affordable price point.
2. Yellow Tone: The strong yellow tone of the product is noticeable when applied, giving my skin a yellowish tint. However, since it’s a night product and doesn’t transfer to sheets, this isn’t a major issue.

This is one of the weirdest product that I’ve came across.
1) Most obviously, it’s mustard yellow colored. It turns my skin yellow even after I spread it out. While I wouldn’t be wearing this during the day due to the retinol ingredient, it feels very weird to have a lotion with such obvious color. I don’t think the color transferred, but it’s still weird.
2) The lotion sinks in and leaves no residue (besides the faint yellow color) within seconds once it’s on the skin. It’s very nice to have grease free skin.
3) The skin feels tighter soon after using the serum. It definitely works.
Effectiveness is definitely there, and the bottle is sleek and chic. I like it once I’m pass the mustard yellow color skepticism. Expensive though :p

Love that this comes in a dark pump so you’re getting all the product out and the vitamin c isn’t turning that funky brown color. There’s so much packed into this serum, no need to pull your hair out figuring out multiple different products for the same result. Skin care routine simplified.

So this formulation does have lots of anti-oxidants that are great for your skin health. That being said, I am a skin care junkie so have some nitpicky things that could be worked on:
1) it states its fragrance free in the description but it definitely has a very distinctive fragrance and not a great one- it smells like a mix of leather and musty gym locker. It’s not a pleasant fragrance but its not strong enough to be off putting from using either. Just not the nicest fragrance.
2) it applies with a heavy yellow cast. You really have to rub it in well to diminish the yellow cast, and even after that it is still slightly yellow. If you apply it before bed and don’t care if there is a slight yellow cast to it, it might not be an issue for you.
3) it can cause pilling in several spots. I tried it both with moisturizer after it and also with nothing else applied but this formulation and still experienced the pilling in certain areas. If you apply right before bed, this also might not be an issue for you.

I used this alongside the strive moisturizer. I did a lot of research on skincare and what “actives” are before I chose this brand, and glad I found it. My skin absolutely feels better and I wish I started a lot sooner!
This is definitely a step up in skin care from just a wash and moisturizer, but because I have been using both I can not say which one has had more impact, but I certainly can feel the difference using both.

I’ve tried a lot of serums and nothing compares. This is the first one I have reordered. It goes on more like a creme and absorbs fast. I saw results in no time. It has become a staple in my skincare routine, cant wait to try more from the brand.
