At 44 I’m embarking on a skin journey. Using a retinol is making my skin flaky red and I’m purging. This moisturizer evens my skin tone reduced redness improves the texture and leaves a beautiful glow. I can wear concealer and foundation on top without pilling or melting. While the product is thick it is not greasy or heavy. Pricy but you only need a tiny bit to hydrate your face and neck. I personally appreciate the fragrance. Highly recommend for dehydrated texturized splotchy skin.

Defective product – I love this moisturizer when not defective (expired maybe?). I love it so much that when planning for a recent trip to the U.A.E., I found in a travel size and purchased here on Amazon. Unfortunately I did not open to use until on my trip and realized it was defective (came in the form of a balm/jelly, not moisturizer cream as it should be). As I discarded the original packaging when packing for my trip, I am unable to return for a refund. So, while this product is incredible, beware of purchasing here as you may receive an expired/defective version.

Have used this as my night time and day time moisturizer for 3 months and have seen noticeable results in my skins smoothness and diminished appearance of fine lines. Very impressed with this products effectiveness for a reasonable price.

Why would anyone spend 80 some dollars on an expired product when it’s make up that’s ridiculous. I’m a senior lose all my faith in buying online.

I want to preface my review by stating that I have sensitive/reactive skin and a history of cystic acne that usually flares up with stress and hormone changes. I am writing this review after attempting to use the Turmeric Glow Moisturizer for two months off and on. Since I know my skin is sensitive, when I try a new product I initially use it on my neck and hands. If I don’t have a reaction, I will use it on my face at night so that I can avoid the sun.

First impressions: I really wish this product came in different packaging. It’s cool that it’s refillable and all but I doubt most people will end up buying a refill. I prefer skincare products to be in airtight dispensers such as a tube or pump to prevent oxidation and contamination. The smell is pretty potent. I thought for sure fragrance was added and when I looked at the ingredient list I couldn’t pinpoint what the scent could be coming from. There is the tumeric of course, but there is also peppermint oil, cedarwood oil, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, and Linalool. All of these, while considered botanical and “clean” are potential irritants and it’s concerning that this product contains all of them. It also contains lactic acid and alcohol.

Results: the product itself is very emollient; much like a thicker night cream. While I didn’t get any reaction on my neck, I did notice that I was breaking out around my chin and mouth after the 3rd day of use. This is my sensitive area and if I have a reaction, it will usually be here. I stopped using it for a couple of weeks to let my skin heal and to determine if it was in fact this product causing the reaction or if it was diet/stress. A couple of weeks later I used it again for several nights in a row. After about the 3rd or 4th day I noticed that I was breaking out again. I have since discontinued using it and I won’t attempt it again in the future. I think that there are just way too many irritants in this product for people with sensitive and reactive skin.

This product might work just fine for someone without the sensitivities I have, but I do want to give a warning to anyone who is acne prone regarding the ingredients list. I also think the packaging is problematic because it invites oxidation of the star ingredients as well as contamination from the air and dirty fingers.
