I love this tool and I’m so glad I bought it! I have really dry skin and even after showering myself clean- I experience that gray dull skin when I’m towel drying. Enter in Esker body plane tool- which helps me scrape all of that dead dull skin off of me. It’s so gross but so satisfying to see all of it come off! Do yourself a favor and buy this!

Bought this for my husband who has wanted something like this for years after reading about exfoliating with curved metal in the Wheel of Time series. Unfortunately, even after being in the shower for a long time, this thing doesn’t really work for exfoliating, unless you press uncomfortably hard. It’s well made though if you want it for massage or other purposes

Waste of a nice piece of wood and metal. This product is totally useless. I tried this multiple times, as directed, and it does absolutely nothing positive for my skin, it does not scrape off dead skin cells, or clear pores of dirt. It just makes a mess with oil. A cheap washcloth in the bath works far better. Now I have wasted $45 because I missed the return window. I cannot resell this, so it’s actually just expensive trash now.

I’ve wanted a body plane for some time. I used to work with Eskers products in our manufacturing facility for a few years and knew her oils were of great quality. After years of just applying oils to my arms and legs with my hands I finally purchased this plane. Man has it done wonders. It’s made very well and still aesthetically pleasing to leave on the counter in a cosmetic display I have with all my products.
I apply the oils by hand but then follow up with the plane. It has helped with removing dead skin, blood circulation and my arms and legs are not left feeling super oily because the oil penetrates through the surface of your skin and doesn’t just sit in top. I would highly recommend you buy it!

Very disappointed to find this beautiful $45 tool does not work to remove dry, itchy, dead skin. After much research and watching multiple YOUTUBE reviews, that showed the effectiveness of this product, I decided to give it a shot. After 2 weeks of use and trying all the suggested way for effectiveness, the Esker Body Plane has failed miserably at its task to remove dead skin. This product should be marketed as a Massage tool for breaking up Fascia and improving circulation in the body, but not removing dead skin. I oiled, soaked in a tub, i took long showers, i oiled, i planed….. it simply removed oil and no dead skin. I could use the palm of my hand to rub and remove more dead skin than this product. I was highly disappointed and would not recommend this product. Now I’m back on the search for something that does work. Anyone try LeEdge? That’s my next try.

I was expecting this to feel more scrapey; this is more of a massage tool than for exfoliating, which is what I was hoping for.
