Way too expensive for a tiny amount and it doesn’t work. Rip off
I Do The Speed Limit –
Way too heavy for me. It sits thick on my skin. Tickles my skin constantly, as it seems to attract every tiny, floating, piece of dust in the air. And it never soaks in, stays shiny-looking and greasy-feeling on my face until I remove it.
I’d have thought that–underneath that heavy layer–I’d find my skin to be soft, plumped, wrinkle-free and smooth. Nope. Just the opposite! I had more fine lines and heavy skin than ever!
Having experienced this product, I’d suggest only using it at night. The directions suggest using it morning and night, but there is no wearing it with makeup or with a mask.
I also ended up with several blemishes after trying this a few times. Can’t say for sure this is what caused them, but the fact that I was always touching my face to remove dust and hairs is not a positive one.

I purchased this cream for almost $100 for calming my acne but unfortunately the cream has deteriorated and is no longer in a usable or desirable condition. it has already spoiled. The smell has changed, and it has become watery, making it ineffective and dangerous to use. I demand a refund.

Babor is a German cosmeceutical brand, established in 1956! I know this brand is their famous range of ampoules!
Every winter the dry air causes my skin to become super dry as well. I try so much to combat this, My face experiences for some reason, redness in certain areas of my face. I really like the consistency of this cream. Super moist and rich just like you’d imagine. It feels very moisturizing. However I’d say it’s not as hydrating as some moisturizers. Feels more like a protective moisturizer that keeps water from seeping out but doesn’t put much in your skin like I’ve found with other moisturizers that can also be hydrating.
I will continue to use this at night and hopefully during the colder months because I think this will be amazing during colder, dryer days.

A very rich and creamy moisturizer that is best used by those with dry skin. If your skin isn’t really all that dry, or you don’t like moisturizers that can be on the heavy side, I would suggest that you try one of Doctor Babor’s other skincare products. This is an excellent facial cream, but is best reserved for those looking for a dense and rich cream that is rich in emollients.
This cream does spread on easily and absorbs well enough, but it will leave a somewhat oily substance along the surface of the skin. It’s clean, though can be annoying if you don’t care for such skincare products. Ideal for those with dry skin or for those giving themselves a spa day to the occasional extra moisturizing treatment. I have combination skin and find that this is great for me to use once in a while, but not at all as my daily moisturizer. The cream is very soothing and will give you a wonderful skincare treatment. It took several hours though to not feel kind of oily after application. Maybe about 6 hours later, the oiliness was gone, but my skin felt super creamy and conditioned. It was also very soft, as well as more elastic and supple. The skin looked great when I looked in the mirror, though there was a little bit of a shine for the first several hours due to the emollients. Later on, the wet sort of shine was gone, but my skin still looked great.
A very good moisture cream for those looking for a deep moisturization treatment.

Holy moly, this cream is RICH! It feels wonderful, or at least, I think it would, if I had drier skin. Alas, my skin is quite oily, and something this rich and emollient is just too much for it. That said, I can tell that this is a quality product. It is intensely hydrating and soothing to sensitive or irritated skin, calming redness and sealing in moisture. I think it would be perfect to wear overnight. I gave this to my mom since she has dry, sensitive skin, and she loves it.

I was excited to try this product as I had tried other products by this brand and enjoyed them. I particularly wanted to try this product as I have a lot of redness on my cheeks and this claimed it would diminish the redness. I received 50 ml of product in a plastic pump dispenser. While plastic, the component looks nice because it has a shiny chrome exterior. One pump produces a lot of product, maybe even more than you might need for your face. You can sort of control the amount of product is you push the pump slowly versus giving it one good hard pump. It is thick and moisturizing. I only use it at night because my makeup did not sit well on top of it. It absorbs well yet leaves a slightly tacky feeling. After more than a month of use, I did not notice any difference in the redness on my face. Because of that and the price point, I would not purchase this product in the future.
