  1. MochiCat

I’ve been using this at night since it’s a thicker cream. It does seem to brighten my undereye area a little bit, though no huge changes with it yet. It takes just a bit to fully absorb, but once it does, there are no lingering feeling of having a heavier cream. Have not noticed any negative effects from it, no millia or irritation.

I’ve been using the StriVectin Super-C Eye Vitamin C Eye Cream for a few weeks, and I’ve noticed some positive changes in the delicate skin around my eyes.

The cream has a lightweight, creamy texture that feels rich but not heavy. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy residue, making it easy to use both morning and night. I particularly like that it layers well under makeup, providing a smooth base for concealer without causing any pilling.

This eye cream is infused with Vitamin C, which is known for its brightening and anti-aging properties. After a few weeks of use, I’ve noticed that my under-eye area looks brighter and more refreshed. The cream has also helped to slightly reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark circles, though the changes aren’t drastic. The brightening effect is gradual, but consistent use seems to make a difference. I wouldn’t say it completely erases dark circles, but it definitely helps improve their appearance over time.

Along with Vitamin C, the cream contains a mix of peptides and antioxidants that help to protect and nourish the skin. I appreciate that the formula is free of parabens and other harsh chemicals, making it gentle enough for the sensitive eye area. However, those with very sensitive skin might want to patch-test first, as Vitamin C can be potent and occasionally cause mild irritation.

The product comes in a sleek, hygienic tube with a precise nozzle that allows you to dispense just the right amount. I find the packaging both practical and aesthetically pleasing, and it’s convenient for travel as well.

StriVectin is known for its higher price point, and this eye cream is no exception. While it is an investment, I believe the quality of the product justifies the cost, especially if you’re looking for an effective eye cream that targets multiple concerns like dullness, fine lines, and dark circles.

StriVectin Super-C Eye Vitamin C Eye Cream is a solid choice for those looking to brighten and rejuvenate the eye area. While it might not completely eliminate dark circles or fine lines, it does a good job of improving the overall appearance of the under-eye area with consistent use. If you’re in the market for a premium eye cream with Vitamin C, this one is worth considering.

I’ve been a fan of Vit C products for a couple of decades now. They seemed to work a lot better on my skin pre-menopause than they do post, but that’s pretty much the deal with everything now.

My skin is fairly sensitive, plus I use retinoids, so while I check the ingredients list for anything that may be problematic, you never know until you try it. I’ve had no sensitivity issues at all with this eye cream.
This cream does contain Myristyl Myristate, which is a 5 out of 5 on the comedogenic scale, so if you’re prone to clogged pores, this will be an issue. I have added a few millia in my eye area since I started using this product a few weeks ago.

It does help brighten my eye area, as well as help firming up my loose undereye skin quite nicely. It also plays nice with my concealer.

    The full ingredients are:

Aqua/Water/Eau, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Propanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Myristyl Nicotinate, Stearyl Alcohol, Myristyl Myristate, Isocetyl Stearate, Pentylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate, Arachidyl Alcohol, Bis-Stearyl Dimethicone, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Ipomoea Batatas Root Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Arachidyl Glucoside, 1,2-Hexanediol, Methylpropanediol, Behenyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer, Panthenol, Polysilicone-11, Isohexadecane, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Disodium EDTA, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Mica, Polysorbate 80, Iron Oxide (Ci 77492), Ascorbyl Methylsilanol Pectinate, Sorbitan Oleate, Hexylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Iron, Titanium Oxide, Sodium Sulfate, Tin Oxide, Tocopherol

  4. Rag Doll

This eye cream from StriVectin is super thick and has Vitamin C which is known to cause sunburn if used without SPF over it. It will pill if over-applied so please use a light layer to pat in. This feels very premium as far as the cream itself as it hosts a lot of lovely ingredients designed to target dark circles and crepey eyelids. I like this a lot for bedtime because I can use it without worry at night only to wake up with refreshed-looking eyes. 🙂

Some of the ingredients are irritants make sure to double-check the list before ordering but if you do not have sensitive skin, this is one of the nicest eye creams I have tried in a long time. It actually does something for my eye bags which is rare as I can usually either only get rid of my circles or my bags at one time. This does a lot of heavy lifting to improve both so I think it is worth the luxury price. 🙂

  5. Myriah

This product was ok. I was hoping for a big more moisture being that the consistency was so thick. Rolled off skin with first use but got better after that.

  6. hiya

This eye cream is thick in texture. It seems to work best to pat it in, rather than smooth it on. If I use too much, I notice that it pills a tiny bit, so I have to be careful not to use too much. I have dark purplish circles, due to thin skin, and this cream does seem to help a tiny bit with that!
