    MY SKIN:
In my 40s, combination skin that tends to be dry because I’m on tretinoin, so I need oil as the last step in my skincare routine to seal in moisture.

    PROS:
    – This looks like a nice product with good ingredients, everything seems to be pretty much organic, and I don’t see too many unnecessary ingredients, though there is ‘aroma” listed which is probably plant-based but still.
    – The oil feels pretty rich, it is greenish in color, and it is slightly viscous when you try to apply to your skin. You might need a bit more compared to other more liquidy similar products, but definitely a great product for dry skin because of the richness. Kept my skin well moisturized.
    – The bottle is glass with a nice pump dispenser, It came in a box made from recycled materials which is great for environmentally conscious customers.

    CONS:
    – For the price tag, I would expect better packaging. The box came not sealed or covered in plastic wrap, so it’s easily opened. The bottle also didn’t have any security features that would prevent tempering. Nowadays, I expect at least a basic plastic seal that you need to break to get into the box, especially for such an expensive product.
    – If you can’t stand any smell or scent in your skincare products, this oil might not be for you. It has a blend of different oils, plus they add an aroma which makes the oil smell of something herbal in a bitter way. It doesn’t disturb me even though I prefer unscented products, but the smell does linger for a while because the oil takes a while to absorb as well.
    – There’s no manufacturing or expiration date, and again, from an expensive product like this I would expect that basic information for sure. I’ve had cheaper skincare products they that were wrapped better and had all the information needed for you to decide if the product is still fresh to use.

All in all, seems like a nice product that cares about the environment and has good ingredients, though it does have a scent to it. If you can afford something like this and don’t care about some of the complaints I mentioned above, then definitely go for it.

  2. Tranquility

For the higher price point I am happy they choose a glass bottle over plastic. It did take me about 30 pumps to finally get it to pump out some oil. Only need a little bit, and it is definitely oily (like only use at night) with an earthy scent. It takes a while to get used to the “facial oil” but this seems to be a really nice one! No negative concerns.

  3. Vine-O Van

So far i like this product, it leaves my rather dry skin feeling moisturized and glowing without making it look greasy. The smell is a bit different and the best i cant describe it like cedarwood essential oil.. very similar. However, the smell doesn’t linger around very long. Overall i think this is a great product and will continue to use it as long as it doesnt flare up my acne as it really does a good job at minimizing my fine lines – especially under my very dry eyes.

  4. The Dun Cow

This Intelligent Nutrients 1 ounce liquid green facial moisturizing oil in Made in the USA. Is is certified organic and is green, but does not leave any green tint. There is definitely a “green” aroma which disapates fast enough. It is light weight on my face, and was very moisturizing. Didn’t absorb quite as quickly as I would have liked, but did absorb! I think this would be nice if mixed with another moisturizer. You don’t need to use too much which is a plus given the price! The intelligent seed oils too include safflower oil, black cumin seed, blue tansy and argan oil and rich and luxurious. I had no irratation and am pleased1

  5. booboo

I have dry skin, but this product is too oily for me. It feels greasy even 30 minutes later on my skin after applying. I would not want to use this every day, but may be on a weekly basis to hydrate my dry skin as a treatment. For the current price of $85 I think is to spendy for a small bottle. Unfortunately, this product is not for me but Could be for some. It has good quality natural ingredients. I just wish it would absorb into my skin.

  6. Tranquility

Was super excited to try this one. It does moisturize your skin–BUT–be aware that a TINY bit goes a long, long way with this one. I’ve started applying this on damp skin, so I won’t be using so much product.
The main issues I had with this were: (1) even a normal amount makes you skin feel oily after application. So you’ve to be super careful in how much you use–whatever you’re thinking, reduce it by 50%; (2) it is a thick oil that takes a while to absorb into your skin. So be careful where you lay your head (haha!) when you’re using this; (3) product has a distinct and almost strong smell to it. Nothing objectionable, mind you. Just a gingelly/safflower/herby oily type smell. Takes a while for it go away too because the oil takes a while to get into your skin.

Bottom line: The first few times I used it, I was not a fan. But once I learned how much to use and how best to use this, I’ve started this for my nightly routine. It does make my skin look a lot more moisturized in the mornings. However, I’m not sure if I’d continue buying a tiny bottle of oil for 85 bucks, but YMMV.

  7. Lost In Craft

I’ve had this I-N Green Oil for a couple of weeks now and have found myself reaching for it more and more over my other moisturizers. I only need around 2 pumps to cover my face and neck, and it absorbs pretty quickly. Sometimes if I over-apply the oil I use crushed pearl powder to kind of “set” the extra overnight and I wake up matte, but not dry! So far it really seems to agree with my middle-aged skin.

It smells pretty herbaceous, which is another plus for me. It smells like it looks like it smells – green! 😀
