The dove soap is just that dove soap, but I must’ve missed the section on size in the description because they are much smaller compared to normal size bar. Will not be purchasing again.

I have a large GSD/Husky mix who is an aggressive chewers and who can chomp down any treat within minutes so I decided to order these for him.
Paco LOVES these and it took him an hour to whittle it a 3rd of the way down which is great!
I got the regular ones which have no flavor added ; wasn’t sure if he was going to snub his nose at them but he didn’t. So glad these were worth their weight in gold! I can actually get some stuff done round the house!!
Good buy, and good size for him to hold between his paws which he likes to do.
    Happy w this product.

Scent reminds me of my grandmother from family trips when I was little. Now I’m the one who’s older and using it… and I get it, Nana… I really do!

My skin is glowing and moisturized and great price, too!

    ● Three soaps were packed in a larger box; there are labels on the soap boxes that says its part of a larger pack
    ● The soap lathers less than regular soaps and cleaning is also less effective, eg. It does not completely remove oil or smell of food from hand after a meal
    ● I observed that the soap does not make the bathroom floor slippery unlike other soaps
    ● This leaves a nice fragrance on our body after a bath and I could feel that the body has a sense of moisturisation where I does not feel very dry. The skin felt smoother as well
    ● There is no TFM label on the cover and this is because this soap contains more fillers that helps in skin beautification and moisturisation
    ● I paid Rs.167 for three soaps of 100 grams each; so each soap costs Rs.55.50 and I rate FIVE stars. There is another pack of three soaps of 75 grams each that sells for Rs.138, which is less economical where you have to pay Rs. 61.50 for 100 grams

    ** Soap Buying Guide **
    ● There are two types of soaps, viz., Toilet Soaps and Bathing Bars
    ● Soaps are made of fatty acids on a base and surface active agents are added as fillers. The difference between the above two soap types is based on the Total Fatty Matter contained the the soap. Typical fatty matter present in soaps are fatty acids like oleic, stearic and palmitic acids. The more the ‘fatty acids to filler’ ratio; the more the TFM value
    ● Toilet Soaps are used for body cleasing and Bathing Bars are used for beautification of the skin
    ● The higher TFM in a soap contributes to better cleasing action. The lower the TFM means it has higher fillers. Adding fillers will also help manufacturers to reduce the cost
    ● Soaps with TFM above 75% are good for cleaning and less than 60% is poor for cleaning. By Indian law, Toilet Soaps should have a minimum TFM of 60% and Bathing Bars should have 40%
    ● Some manufacturers add moisturising cream, vitamin, ayurvedic material or talc as fillers. So they may have other qualities like skin beautification, moisturisation, etc. based on the materials contained. All these have got low TFM value and is not good at cleaning but have other qualities. Glycerin soap like Pears is good for sensitive skin. Beauty Bar like Dove is good to keep the skin moist and Ayurvedic soap like Chandrika is good for chemicals-sensitive skin
    ● TFM will be printed on the packing carton or wrapper

    ** Summary **
    ● If you have no special requirements for soap, but only bothered about the fragrance and cost, buy a soap with TFM value more than 76%. They are good for your skin and cleansing action is the best
    ● Avoid soaps with very high fragrance and also those claims fairness-enhancement. They are very likely to have too many chemicals

I love Dove soap. My GYN doc recommended this soap as gentle, and won’t cause irritation like some soaps or body washes. It’s a lovely soap that’s been around for generations–my grandmother kept a linen closet full of Dove and when I’d visit I always felt so grownup using her Dove. Highly recommend.
