This review is for the 15ml / .5 fl oz size jar of “M-61 Hydraboost Eye Concentrate”.
My biggest criticism of this eye cream is that I could not find an icon or written text anywhere in the jar or the outer box indicating the shelf life of this product once opened. Given the price point, I personally would prefer to have clear guidance on how long I can expect to use it at its most fresh/best. Maybe since it’s so small they figure you’ll use it up before expiry would be an issue?
Skincare is so highly variable and personal that I can’t tell you whether or not this will work for you. However, I CAN tell you that:
– The jar and screw on lid feel very sturdy, I would feel comfortable putting this in my makeup pouch for travel and wouldn’t be worried about it in transit.
– The texture is thick and creamy and absorbs nicely
– Once I apply it, it leaves a lovely cooling feeling under my eyes. I would assume this is from the CICA and aloe ingredients!
– I have sensitive skin and have not had any issues with sensitivity due to using this under my eyes.
$84 is a bit steep for me personally but if this fits within your budget I think it is certainly worth giving it a try 🙂

M-61 Powerglow Peel is my all-time favorite exfoliating facial treatment. Therefore, I had high hopes for this multi-peptide hyaluronic acid eye cream. And while the cream is just fine, it really doesn’t live up to my [admittedly high] expectations. It’s a lightweight gel-like formula that creates a slightly tacky cushion around the eyes. It seems to have an immediate plumping effect, smoothing out the puckery crinkles directly under my eyes, but it’s too sticky to wear under foundation, so I really need to see sustained results for this to be of any benefit to me. And, as with most other eye creams, I’m not really seeing any improvement over the long term. I’ve been applying this each evening for about a month now and it hasn’t done anything more than when I just use a normal face cream in my eye area. In addition to HA, Tripeptide-3, Terapeptide-7 and Hexapeptide-8, it also has Centella Asiatica (for soothing sensitive skin), Polysaccharides (a fermented ingredient for brightening) as well as some all-purpose moisturizers (Aloe, Allantoin and Glycerin). It has no perfumes or essential oils but has a hint of that Elmer’s Glue scent I get from some fragrance-free cosmetics. All in all, not a bad product, just not up to the standard of the Powerglow Peel.
