  1. Deep in Thought

I am a big fan of Lancome makeup and skincare products, so not very surprisingly, I loved their double treatment essence as well! The watery texture absorbs instantly into my skin, gently exfoliating it and leaving a nice radiant glow that makes my bare face look and feel so healthy. I then follow up with serum, moisturizer, and SPF to complete my daytime routine. Two months in and highly pleased with the results!

  2. KK

What I liked I most about this the Lancome Double Essence treatment is that it’s a smooth finish and it also leaves my skin feeling moisturized, furthermore I love the product and would recommend it to anyone .

  3. S. Bart

The formula of this essence is pretty gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I am careful to keep it away from my eyes and nasal folds though. It’s lightweight and non greasy. I like to use this before serums as it has a watery consistency. The formula has 4 acids for exfoliation: glycolic, lactic, salicylic, and physic acid. The formula doesn’t have any unnecessary fillers or emulsifiers. I think the whisk does a great job of mixing up the bi-phase product. I don’t like how it sort of stores a bit of product in the neck of the bottle. That little bit never seems to be properly mixed up. I think that the price is a little prohibitive for most people, especially if you aren’t a regular Lancôme user. I think it’s worth a try if you’re regular skincare isn’t giving you the results you’re looking for or if you want to treat yourself with a higher end skincare product.

A note about bi-phase (water and oil) type formulas: This formulation allows the manufacturer to create two potent product formulations in one step because there is no need for binders or emulsifiers to dilute the formula. While it may seem like a gimmick, it’s actually a good thing. You get the hydration from the “water” phase and moisturizing benefits of the “oil” phase in one easy step.

  4. A Big Family

In spite of its watery consistency it is absorbed on contact, no dripping, no mess.
I concentrated the essence in the T-zone, the area where the pores are most congested. I could feel slight warmth, but no discomfort. Followed up with serum, moisturizer and sunblock without pilling. I believe my T-zone looks a bit smoother. No discernable scent. So far so good.

  5. KC

Been using it few weeks already. Can’t use it everyday because it dries my face. It is kot greasy and I feel like I need to use a good amount of product to feel good coverage.
An improvement this can have is to include some kind of instructions or guidance, like how many times a week is recommended, before of after lotion, there’s absolutely no instructions or much info about the product from the box. It does include a warning about being caution while wearing the product in the sun.

  6. A Big Family

First off, I already all a consistent skincare routine so my results might be different than someone who hasn’t established what works for them and is not on a routine.

I’ve been looking for something to fill in the gap on my routine where I don’t use my serum that day. (Nothing wrong with using both I just do 2-3 days in a row on exfoliating products and then like to give my skin a break for the rest of the week since I’ve found that’s what worked best for my skin. I have and oily t-zone and dry cheeks when my skincare isn’t on my routine. My plan was to use this on the days I do a standard wash/and maintenance to moisture levels days)

I chose Lancôme for the ingredients and price point. I typically use their eye cream and foundations and I’ve had very good success with my skin not reacting negatively to them.

The price point is amazing for this type of product and its ingredients. I’ve seen other brands with mirrored ingredients and less product for double the value of KEYS. The ingredients are great, natural products for sensitive skin and those with oily skin.
This has done a great job of not over moisturizing any areas and is already showing signs of balancing out my nose, chin and forehead in terms of my skins natural oil production. (Most times we over produce oily areas because our skin is over watering us to balance out dryness building in the top layer/two layers of skin)

It reacts well to my current toner and moisturizer, by day and night. The serum also hasn’t had any issues on my off days from it where I’m using my acid based products. I actually have noticed on those days that my skin is better absorbing the products used since it’s my skin is in a healthier, balanced place.

Also, a little goes a long way. I only need two drops. If you’re still developing your routine I recommend starting with 1-2 drops and slowly increase a drop a day until you each your desired level for skin type. Once your skin has adjusted to your routine you will not need as much and can go back down yo 1-2 drops to maintain your skin.

I’ve noticed in colder weather I have to increase by a drop. Also, I only need this about three times a week. More than that I start to peel regardless of how much I cover my skin.

The packing is on point. It’s not wasteful. It’s thicker glass also protecting the essence from fluctuating temperatures if you decide to keep this in your bathroom.

The amount listed of product is actually IN the bottle. So many brands have larger packaging to fool us into believing I’m paying a high price for tons of product when really we’re paying for poor quality plastic.

I would absolutely repurchase this when this bottle starts to run low and even explore other options in this line.

As a vine customer I don’t get things for free. By the end of the year I need to pay taxes from it, So I am making sure that I buy things that I need and do an honest review!

  7. Suzie Creamcheese

I am absolutely pleased with the Lancôme Clarifique Double Treatment Essence!

This exfoliating, brightening, and soothing facial essence feels amazing on my skin, providing a luxurious and refreshing experience. The combination of salicylic, glycolic, and lactic acids has done wonders for improving my skin’s radiance, tone evenness, and hydration levels.

I couldn’t be happier with this product and highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their skincare routine. 5 stars!

  8. Toni

This essence works well. Was gentle enough my on my sensitive skin. My main complaint is that there are no real directions. I had to scroll through reviews to see how to use properly.
