I absolutely love this toner, well, it does not feel quite like a toner but more like a serum. Unlike toner, you don’t apply it using a cotton pad but you apply it directly to your skin. The toner is quite thick but light, the dispenser is meant to dispense only a few drop of the solution so you can apply it directly onto your skin. It smells exactly like what you’d expect from ginseng. I normally don’t like my skincare product to have scent but I really love this scent. The toner left my skin feeling tight, hydrated abd soft. I have yet to see the long term result but if I can get the same result every time I use this toner then that’s a win for me. At $100 a bottle, it does seem pricey but the bottle is quite big and you only need to use a few drops to cover the entire face and neck so this bottle will last a long time. Highly recommend this toner!

I do like this product but I’ll start by saying I’m not sure it’s worth $100. It works well to help keep my dry skin moisturized and smooth, but it’s different from other toners so it can be confusing how to use it. I always use toners first and like to mist them on, but this is a bit thicker so you can just put it directly in your hand and rub it into your face. It’s closer to a serum so I just use it like that. If you consider it a serum, the price is better because then you are getting much more product than you would a regular serum. It has a light scent, kind of botanical, but it doesn’t linger. At least you get a lot of product for this price because it should last a long time.

I am not sure why this toner has such a big price tag? It smells good if you like ginger….and it does feel good on the face, but it’s just a toner? I don’t find that it does anything amazing for my face….it does feel more like a serum than a toner, and it does have a pleasant scent…but that is about the extent of it?

The first thing you notice is the packaging; it’s lovely. The bottle is heavy glass that shimmers gold; stunning when the sun hits it. (If I didn’t think sunlight might be bad for it, I’d be tempted to leave it out on the counter!)

I’m not sure why you’re supposed to apply it over serum; toner comes first in every layering list I’ve seen. But I follow the directions anyway and it seems to work. Honestly, this goes on more like serum than toner anyway. It’s thicker than most toners, but a dime-sized little puddle in your hand will easily cover your whole face.

It absorbs surprisingly fast, and in that respect is more like a toner. Others have mentioned they like the scent; I don’t. At all. It’s a very earthy, organic scent that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it’s not one I like spreading all over my face. Fortunately, it’s mild and mostly dissipates very quickly. No stickiness/tackiness after it dries.

I’ve only been using this for four days (twice a day), but I’ve already seen an improvement in the smoothness of my skin and it does seem more hydrated. I’ve had no adverse reactions at all despite my skin’s tendency to be a little sensitive. It’s delivering on it’s promises so far! That said, at $100 a bottle, it’s expensive. I know it will last awhile, but still! And there’s that odd scent… But I’m still going to give it five stars, because anything that can make my tired, worn-out skin look better without causing a breakout or worse deserves it.

I’ve been wanting to try something from Sulwhasoo as it seems to be the holy grail of Korean skincare. So far, I really like the way this toner feels on my skin. I’m not really sure it’s worth the high price tag, but you can shop it and find it for less. I may just stick with my Beauty of Joseon as it seems to provide about the same amount of hydration without the huge price tag. I am very glad I tried it though. It’s nice!

The water smells very nice, herbal and fruity. Not too strong or overpowering at all. I love the scent. The water is actually thicker than water but thinner than the usual serums. It goes on the skin easy, and leaves it feeling nice and soft and pleasant to the touch. It was made in Korea, I think.
I am very pleased with it

I’ve been doing outdoor renovations, yardwork and paddleboarding in the summer sun for weeks. This was very refreshing to my dry and stressed skin. The thickness is a bit thicker than water and wasn’t expecting that. Bottle is beautiful and glass. Scent is very mild and pleasant. I can definitely say it immediately soothed and made my skin look beautiful. The price is quite high so I’ll be reporting back about the effects of this “liquid gold”. Everything so far feels like magic but we’ll see if it’s worth the price of gold.

    Update* 6/3/2022
My skin already looks amazing after only 3 days! I have no makeup on in picture and I’m almost 40 with damaged skin from working outside over 10years and living in Florida my whole life. The scent honestly just smells like pure ginseng it’s lovely and fades away quickly.
