I’ve tried several Lab Series products now, and they all seem to be very high quality. That said, this Lab Series Daily Rescue Energizing Eye Treatment is the first of their products that I’m not absolutely thrilled about. It’s a nice, lightweight cream that absorbs nicely under my eyes… I just can’t tell that’s it’s doing anything.

I have always loved this eye gel (wines for women to). I’ve been using it for years but $50 is crazy! Nope I’m sad to say I just can’t do it. Very disappointed

This cream has been working well for me, I’m not sure why it took so long for under-eye treatment specifically for men to become mainstream as we can have dry puffy eyebags just as easily as the ladies, and we don’t normally have the luxury of being able to mask our imperfections behind make-up. Having said that, I also learned from my wife that you shouldn’t cheap out if you want good quality skin care products, so I am pleased to report that this cream glides onto your skin and absorbs effortlessly, leaving a noticeably smoother surface without any residue or odor. My skin definitely feels very well nourished afterwards for the entire day.

This eye cream has been a useful addition to my morning routine. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. The caffeine seems to help reduce puffiness under the eyes, giving a refreshed look. It’s light and gentle on the skin.

This caffeine eye serum seems to being somewhat of an ok job. I got this for my husband almost 50 yrs old, because you know, men need beauty care too. He started using this for the week, morning and night. He said he didn’t really make any difference in his under bag eyes and wrinkles. I guess, he will have to continue using this for a few more weeks hoping this eye serum will help with looking less tired and eye bags. Will update if anything changes.

Review: Lab Series Daily Rescue Energizing Eye Treatment, 0.51 fl oz
First the good:
I love that this is fragrance free for the sensitive eye area. It does have it’s own scent but nothing that’s bothersome or lingering. It’s a clear gel and went on without any burning or sensation. I also put mine in the fridge so that felt especially nice. This contains caffeine so it does legit help with swollen eyes.
The not so good:
It’s honestly pretty pricey for the amount and I know that for eye cream you only need a bit but I have had some great eye creams and gel for much less.

This eye serum has a light, gel-like texture. It absorbs instantly, and creates immediate improvement in appearance. It has a kind of scent to it that I don’t love. It’s hard to describe, almost plastic-like? The scent does fade fairly quickly, so it’s not an issue. This cream has a ton of natural ingredients in it and doesn’t list “fragrance” as an ingredient. So the scent is likely from the natural ingredients in this. The cream hasn’t caused any skin or eye irritation. I’m quite impressed with the visible difference it makes. This is an Estee Lauder brand, so I knew it would be good! I have used Estee Lauder products for decades with good results, and I trust the research they put into their products. Really nice eye cream, worth a try!
