This mask is on the pricey side, but it really does make your skin look and feel amazing. A little of this mask goes a long way ( it’s a good thing because it’s a small jar). Now that we have established big price small jar, I have to say it really does make your skin look and feel wonderful. If you opt to pay the price for this mask your skin will thank you. 😊

So I keep putting off reviewing this because I keep telling myself I will get some before and after photos. But I hate taking selfies and life is busy. SO I’m going ahead and writing the review. Maybe I will manage to get some good photos later to add in. This stuff is expensive and more than I would ever spend on myself for face cream, but I’m so happy I have it and may well buy it again when I eventually run out. I’m in my mid 30’s and have two kids and I often feel tired and not that attractive. I always wear a bit of light make up, mostly to cover my dark under eye circles and smooth out my complexion. This tiny tub of cream arrived and I thought to myself “there’s no way this stuff is worth the price that it is!” I followed the directions to put a thin layer all over my face, waited 10 minutes then gently rinsed away with a warm damp cloth and patted dry. I was astonished how smooth and nice my skin looked! I put a tiny bit of under eye concealer on to lighten under my eyes and felt great with no other make up on for the day. The next day I felt like my skin still looked better than usual but wasn’t as strikingly smooth as it was day one. I have been using it about once per week since I got it in late November and I still have about 3/4s of the tub left. I usually feel really good about my face the day I apply it and skip make-up on that day. I like to put it on the day I take the kids to the pool so that I can feel good about my face without make up on that day. It really does make my skill look smooth, fresh and very nice. I’m honestly not sure at all if it’s improving my skin long term. I wish I had done a before picture before first using it. If you can afford this cream, I do highly recommend it. It will leave you feeling really good about your face. I have noticed zero discomfort or negative side effects from it. Just improved complexion! I swear it takes years off my face! Some face creams seem to make me break out a bit too, and this one does not at all. The scent of the cream is also very subtle and pleasant, and I can be a bit sensitive about scented things on my face. Truly the only downside I see to this product is the high price. That said, I expect I will get 6+ months from this one jar. So it’s worthwhile to consider how far a little goes.

For the price, I was expecting to see something happen with my skin, even long term. As I age, I am seeing the fine lines and wrinkles. Although this mask is easy to use (only 10 minutes!), I haven’t really seen a real, long-term difference in my skin. My skin feels smooth and slightly tight right after using the mask but the next day, it feels like normal again. And for the price, I am trying to ration my usage out to once or twice a week.

Application is really sheer and product smells a bit like bananas? I wasn’t sure if the mask should be thick or thin, but I waited the allotted timeframe and it was not dry yet. I didn’t want to mess with my skin so I took off the product, but I feel like it should have been completely dried out given that I did not apply a ton. Either way, I did like the way my skin felt afterwards and I will continue to use this. I’m not sure it’s worth as much as it is priced for, but I am not a skincare expert either.

This mask is one of those put on 10 minutes and wash off masks. It had slight minty tingling but not over powering. The mask dried quickly and was easy to wash off. It has a nice scent. My skin did feel moisturized but I’m not sure how much of the peptides are going to penetrate the skin if the mask is only on 10 minutes? I’ve never had a peptide mask (just peptide creams) so I’m wondering if it is worth the price for such an expensive ingredient to be washed off. That being said my skin did feel great afterwards.

This face mask leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated and plump. The application is soothing, and the results are noticeable, making my skin look more hydrated and youthful.

This Jan Marini Hyla3D Face Mask is certainly a luxury product, but I can’t confidently say it’s worth the high price. The mask is relatively easy to use by applying to clean skin and leaving it on for 10 minutes. The directions say it may cause a slight tingle, but I have not experienced that (and neither have most other reviewers). After 10 minutes you wipe it off with a damp cloth. It does leave your skin feeling really smooth and lovely, and I feel like it tightens up my pores in the short term. The remaining scent is mild and smells like high quality olive oil you get in Greece. Not my favorite scent, but certainly not unpleasant.
So, yes. The product works. It’s just really pricey and not revolutionary enough to warrant the high cost, in my opinion.
