Aunque está presentación no es de lo más práctica para mis necesidades (la próxima vez compraré la versión con dispensador), en cuanto al producto en general, quedé maravillada. Esta crema se ha convertido en un básico para mi rutina diaria.
Si bien, es cierto que la crema es muy espesa a la hora de expandirla sobre la piel y sí me pareció una molestia al intentar aplicarla en el cuerpo, no he tenido problema alguno al usarla en mi rostro, razón principal por la cual la compré. Algo a tomar en cuenta es que mi rostro es de complexión grasosa, porosa y con tendencia al acné y a pesar de su composición, no me crea más acné, disminuyó mi rosácea y por ser increíblemente humectante, controla el brillo natural de mi piel.

I have tried many different moisturizers on my sensitive skin and this one is the only one I found that does not irritate my skin and moisturizes it. I do have more oily skin and this is a thicker moisturizing cream but it still works great.

Are you sick and tired of spending tons of money on super fancy eye creams to use as a base under concealer… only to have them do pretty much nothing? THIS is the solution.
Works beautifully around the eye area, certainly did not cause me any irritation, and I am irritated by just about every cosmetic, whether it is marked fragrance free, hypoallergenic or not, and does the job all those $$$$ ones claim to do.
Wow. This is the one. No unnecessary ingredients, does not have fragrance at all, and is a reasonable price.

My dermatologist recommended this when I was experiencing what I called a “skin crisis” on my face: my daytime and nighttime moisturizers stopped working seemingly overnight, and my skin felt tight, dry, and irritated for several days (and this was without a flareup of eczema and psoriasis, which I get on my face occasionally). I really like this lotion. There’s no fragrance to it wellll maybe a hint but its not strong. (You know those products that say there is no fragrance and you still smell like a hint of something, that is this.) But its not strong at all. I’ve been using it for about a 3-5 days and I haven’t noticed any breaks out. My skin is very sensitive when it comes to putting anything on face and I break out immediately. So far this hasn’t done that. This lotion is also very thick! So a little goes a long way! I bought the smaller container/ bottle, I have a feeling this is going to last me a long time. Overall so far I really like this for my everyday face lotion.

Vanicream has been a staple in our home for more than a decade. It moisturizes skin without fragrance – it does have a mild, inoffensive scent. It doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy – just soothed and happy. Much thicker than standard “moisturizer” or hand cream. It is used in pharmacies and at home for compounding. For example, we put Vanicream in a small vile, add a little Tee Trea oil, and we have mild antibacterial hand cream.

Very moisturizing it’s thick but not heavy and no tacky feeling, it’s helped with my flaky dry aging skin and hasn’t caused any reactions or breakouts so far I love it.

So many great reviews (on here and other sites) and many recommended it on fb eczema groups. One thing I’m surprised about is the lack of ceramides in the ingredient list and the presence of bht (used as a preservative). It does a great job moisturizing but maybe my son’s eczema is too severe and it doesn’t last as long as I want it to considering the reputation of this product. There was a concerning study when they used this product on mice. They found that it caused squamous cell carcinoma (type of cancer when cells in the skin start to change). I’m not sure of the validity of the method because they said they exposed the hairless mice to UV radiation (this product doesn’t have spf and is not used for sun protection) but they state that it’s not a melanoma type of cancer (cancer of the skin). When posted on an eczema fb group, some moms say the benefit is greater than the risk. I will use this one in a while…not on a daily basis given the study.
