Pale lavender color thick hair cream. Left hair feeling very soft, silky and shiny, but weighed down. I used it on my natural blonde hair which gets somewhat dry and frizzy. I saw a bit more shine. Instructions say to only apply mid length to end of hair, not to scalp or bangs. I applied to end of my bangs and front lower 1/2 of my hair and made it look slightly greasy. Would recommend for damaged hair. Nice that it’s made in the USA. Read warning label carefully on possible irritation or reaction.

I’d consider this a bit pricey, the container isn’t that big. The product itself works pretty well though, definitely helps moisturize!

This purple conditioner isn’t very pigmented, so don’t expect a huge improvement to your brassy blonds or yellowed greys. It will brighten and cool tone just a bit. You can boost this effect with a bright purple shampoo. The conditioner itself is great. It’s a nice thick mask that stays put on my hair. The scent is divine! It is a summery floral that has notes of jasmine and lilac. I do notice that I have to be careful and not put too much on the mid lengths of my hair and focus on the ends because it does have a tendency to weight down my super fine hair.

I absolutely love using this R & Co Blue toning, and conditioning masque. I am in the process of growing my hair out gray. Almost there, but I have some overprocessed blonde ends to go yet. This toning mask did a great job of toning and hydrating my hair. I applied it to my whole head, although the instructions say to apply from mid length through to the ends. Then I used a plastic cap and kept it on for 15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. It did not weigh my hair down at all, and my silvers were bright and shiny. Blow drying was smooth, with no hair catching in my round brush. Plus, it really toned down the brassiness of my ends and blended them in well with the silvers. I have had it with drippy, purple treatments to neutralize brass, but this masque is thick with the moisturizing ingredients like Shea butter, glycerin, avocado oil, and other seed extracts. It is a pale lavender color and it is fragranced. I love the fragrance, but others who are fragrance sensitive may object. I don’t feel that it lingered in my hair. My second and third day hair was still shiny and bouncy. Besides being vegan, every bit of this product is sustainable. Despite my glowing review, the price point is a bit ouchy, even for a product like this I am going to love using. I otherwise recommend!

I really love how this worked to tone down the brassiness of my highlights. I have my hair with heavy highlights to mask grays, but after a summer of sun and pool, the highlights look frazzled. I still have a few weeks until my next appointment, so I gave this a try to see if I could tone things down. I am really happy with the results.

First, it’s super simple to use. The mask is thick enough that it goes where you want. Plus you can apply it right in the shower and rinse out at the end of your shower. I was worried it might be difficult to rinse, but it was very easy and came out completely. I have wavy/curly hair and this didn’t weigh down my curls at all, but instead I feel like the added moisture helped give them more definition and less frizz.

The color is improved and while it isn’t drastic after one use, it is noticeable. My hair is far less frazzled and much softer. While it is a pricier item, you only apply mid-length to ends and you don’t need a lot of product so a tube does last longer than expected. It also smells divine.

I picked this for my wife who has blond highlights. She has frequently mentioned that although she loves the color, the treatments leave her hair feeling dry. She raved about this product after just one use. Her hair feels much softer. The directions were easy to read and in a normal size font (see picture). She did say to be sure to leave it in for the full five minutes to get the most benefit. She compared the consistency of the conditioner to those that are included with boxed hair coloring – thick and creamy, not watery. She will definitely buy this again.

  7. Suzie Creamcheese

I got this for my daughter and per her, it is okay. It provides decent moisturizing but someone with damaged hair may need something more nourishing than this. It’s pretty good as far as toning down brassiness, but it is also quite expensive for what you get.

  8. ActiveChef

I have many highlights/bayalage all over my hair, so I was excited to try out this masque as my hair tends to get a more copper tone to it. Overall I think this did take out some of the brassiness and helped to keep the blondes brighter. It is definitely quite expensive, so I’m not sure if the value is completely there, but it does work pretty well.
