Not even worth a star. I used some samples before buying this. The product does not feel or smell the same as the samples and is basically waterier. It doesn’t benefit my skin in any way. Hugely disappointed.

This product is really sticky. Very different from serums that feel like thin cream and absorb completely in the skin leaving a soft supple skin behind. It’s a tough one to stick by…

My doctor recomended this line to me and I have slowly started to use more and more. I am not sure I saw a significant difference in my skin because of the serum or if I saw a difference from another product on this line. I can say that my skin feels tighter, the lines are less noticable, and the spots have faded. I use, not only the serum, but also the Total Repair Cream, the Eye Lift Cream and the Total Cleanser, in additon to the resurfacing mask, which is my favorite thing ever!!. I can not, however, use all of them at the same time everyday or my skin will go dry (I am guessing due to the Retinal). I use the serum in the AM and just the Total Skin Repair at night, if I try to combine the two my face itches and is a bit uncomfortable. I would absolutly recomend this line to anyone my age (40) and up, just use caution and introduce new products slowly.

Edit: I wrote the review below about 7 years ago. Of course, now Image sells their products on Amazon and elsewhere. I’m now 63 years old and I still love Image products! I still use Tretinoin! I still highly recommend Image!
I love Image Skincare Products. This anti-aging product, specifically, is great. It tightens my skins, exfoliates, and helps with the acne that was suppose to stay where it belongs – in our teenage years. However, I’m 56 years old, and if I don’t exfoliate and stay on top of my skincare every single day, I will get acne, and my skin will look bad. I poured so much money down the drain on over-the-counter products from big box stores and higher end department stores. None of them did what they claimed they would do. When I was in my 40’s, I started to become more aware of how blotchy my skin had become from sun exposure. I always wore a baseball cap while landscaping. It became apparent that the cap had not protected my face from the sides. I read Paula Begoun’s, Don’t go to the Cosmetic Counter Without Me, and my lifetime of chasing one failed skincare product after another came to an abrupt halt. Hope was found. I read that no product anywhere is going to give you the results you’re looking for like a skin peel. She was 100% right. I went to a dermatologist who had an aesthetician working in her office. We talked. I set an appointment and I did it! I got my first peel. It did everything those jars of creams I had spent hundreds of dollars on over the years didn’t do. It’s now 10 years since my first peel and I still do them every year. You cannot get these results out of a jar, but you still need good products to take care of your skin on a daily basis, and Image has great products. I’ve tried a couple other brands, but Image is the one for me. If you want to use Retin A, I have to say that prescription is definitely the best choice. I used Image’s rentinol product for years and then my dermatologist stopped selling it. I was in a panic, but then I found it on Amazon. Yay! Then I got a bogus Image Retinol product from Amazon (it was gritty…) and switched to prescription Tretinoin. Wow! Much better than Image’s Retinol product. (Sorry, Image.) Some people might find the prescription strength too harsh, and if so, then I would recommend Image’s Retinol. The rest of the Image products I have purchased from Amazon seem to be fine. That being said, I don’t understand why Image won’t sell on Amazon. Why not just sell it yourselves, Image? Some of the reviews by consumers seem ridiculous and fake to me. Why doesn’t Image have their own real people get on here and explain why we shouldn’t buy from Amazon instead of (I suspect) hiring people to pose as fake customers and leave those ridiculous reviews. Honesty goes a very long way, and so does dishonesty. Some people can’t afford to go to a dermatologist or spa for facials, and peels, and products. Surely, Image, you have lots of money by now, and can make these products a little more affordable, especially with health insurance skyrocketing over the last few years. Why don’t you nurture a little customer care, lower your prices, and make your products more accessible to the general public? Be a company that supports America in a time of need. Then you wouldn’t have a problem with unauthorized dealers selling your product on places like Amazon. You have a great product! If it’s all about money, wouldn’t you make more of a profit by opening your doors to the internet with lower prices, than by keeping your product exclusive only to those who frequent dermatologists and spas? It’s a pain to buy your product that way. Why not sell your products to the whole world?

I love this Serum. I use it every night before moisturizing and my skin looks great. I first purchased this serum from my local spa after a facial. My esthetician first recommended that I use it and that was 3 years ago. I have been using it ever since and I always have a back up bottle just in case I run out. I highly recommend this product. It is great for age spots, aging skin and any blemishes.

I was introduced to this product about 20 years ago from my aesthetician and it is fabulous! I had always purchased it through the salon or a private beauty product company. So I was happy to find it on Amazon . My only concern is that the scent is different from what I have purchased for 20 years so I hope I am getting the real thing and not some fake product .

This stuff is my go to! I’m 29 but I’ve had 3 kids and have a lot of dark spots and starting to get light wrinkles. When I switched to using the clear cell cleanser, ageless serum, clear cell moisturizer, and of course image skincare sunblock I now have 0 dark spots and no wrinkles!! Also with using clear cell I don’t get breakouts….ever! All of image skincare also mixes n matches so it won’t interact. I will never use another product as long as it keeps working this good.
