This Coffee Scrub smells wonderful. I like that it uses sugar instead of salt since sugar scrubs are more gentle on the skin. The scrub leaves our skin exfoliated and hydrated.

This is a really nice smelling body scrub and per their listing “flavors” your skin because it’s mostly composed of sugar and coffee grounds. I used it like an exfoliator but I don’t see anything exceptional that would warrant this steep price tag. If you’ve used a good sugar scrub, they run about $10-$20. This isn’t a jumbo tub so that part left me scratching my head. They do mention that they donate proceeds to marginalized communities but this is an expensive scrub still.

First off, let’s talk about the scent. Imagine bathing in your favorite coffee shop’s heavenly aroma. Yes, it’s that good. As for the exfoliation, this scrub is like a gentle sandblaster for your skin (in the best way possible, of course). It effortlessly rids my skin of dead cells while adding a much-needed layer of moisture.
And the best part? A little goes a long way. Seriously, this jar might last longer than my caffeine addiction, which is saying something! This coffee-scented scrub is amazing! The gentle exfoliation leaves my skin incredibly soft without any oily residue. It’s perfect for dry, sensitive skin like mine, and a little goes a long way. They nailed the scent of it too, smells just like fresh ground coffee!

This product is an oily sugar scrub with a strong and sweet coffee scent. Honestly, it’s a bit more powerful than I prefer; also not energizing and fresh like mint or eucalyptus. It treats my skin well enough though, leaving it smooth and not stripping away moisture. Note, it’ll also leave some dark coffee particles in the corners of your shower.
By the way, the seal on my jar broke during shipping and the oil leaked out all over the inside of the Amazon shipping envelope. Thankfully it wasn’t shared with anything else, but you may want to exercise caution when ordering.

This is a great scrub — of course, the best thing about it is the wonderful fragrance. It smells like a delicious sweetened coffee beverage, but it isn’t overpowering. It does linger for a while, but the scent stays very close to the skin, so I can’t imagine it bothering anyone. The scrub is fine-grained so it isn’t harsh or abrasive on my dry, sensitive skin. It is mildly exfoliating and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth with no oily sheen. It does not feel as heavy and oily as some scrubs I have tried. I also like that it is a sugar-based scrub which seems to help it melt into my skin right away. I just massage gently and the scrub rinses away clean. This is an expensive product in my book, so I tend to use it sparingly. I don’t use anywhere near the amount the guy in the pictures accompanying the product description scooped up. Luckily, just a small amount works very well. I especially like how my roughest, driest spots feel so much better after only using these a few times. My feet are definitely sandal-ready! I like this enough that I put some in a smaller jar to keep by the kitchen sink to keep my hard-working hands looking and feeling nice. Just a pinch does the trick. This is one of the best scrubs I can remember trying, and I would definitely buy this for myself or for a friend or family member.

I honestly expected this to have a much stronger coffee scent, so I was a tad bummed the scent isn’t strong. It’s like a sweeter light coffee scent. It does smell good but don’t expect it to linger on your skin. Unless maybe you use way too much, but at the price I don’t recommend doing that.
It’s fairly gentle in my opinion, unless you’re scrubbing like a psycho. That’s on you then.
It does spread well, I use a little at a time to make sure I’m not wasting any. I like that it’s not drenched in oil like some scrubs, yet you can still feel the oils remaining on your skin after you rinse. After I dry off I don’t feel greasy, and either the oils soak in or they get rubbed off on the towel or my clothes, but my skin doesn’t feel dry like it can at times after not using this.
There is no way I can afford to get a jar after this one is gone, but if you can afford it and like the idea of a very light somewhat sweet coffee scented scrub, it might be worth a try.
I am intrigued by their other products though!

I can’t say enough good stuff about this scrub, it smells DELICIOUS like a mocha vanilla cupcake is baking nearby … and the scrub to emollient ratio is perfect. I love how it makes my skin feel. You kind of have to try it to believe it, and I’m a believer now!
