The SOL DE JANEIRO Brazilian Bum Bum Cream Set is tremendous! The richness is unreal, yet it dries quickly and and well. The scent is strong, but it’s absolutely a lovely almost musky vanilla or amber scent. I don’t even know, but it feels amazing going on. My skin is definitely softer after daily use for a little over a week. The price is high as this is a well known brand, but it is lovely!

These smell amazing. I received two of them. A smaller size and then the full sized one. Onto the actual lotion itself. It smells great, very summery. The scent lingers for a while, but it does get very subtle after an hour or so. A little goes a long way, it spreads fairly easily, but not as smooth as a straight lotion.
It is fairly hydrating, I’d rate the hydration at a 7.5/10. I knocked a few points because it isn’t the *most* hydrating, it does a good job but I don’t feel like I stay moisturized for nearly as long as I’d like. It absorbs very quickly, which makes it sensory friendly in my opinion. It also doesn’t leave you feeling greasy by any means.

If you aren’t familiar with Sol De Janeiro, you need to be. They just make great stuff. It is consistently among the best products I get to try and review here on Amazon and I try a lot. Bum Bum cream (pronounced boom boom) is their firming cream and it is special. It moisturizes and does leave your skin feeling a bit firmer or more taut. It isn’t game changing but it does improve things. Like all of their products, this smells amazing. I don’t love scents but SDJ does them right. I believe that this cream is their original scent. Whatever the case, it is amazing. If you just want great cream, try their Drench cream. Fab. SDJ stuff isn’t inexpensive but it is worth it. A little goes a long way and it lasts a long time. I cannot recommend Bum Bum cream enough.

I love the smell of this stuff, nice beach/coconut scent. It can be a bit strong and does last a while. It moisturizes well too. The big bottle will last a while and was almost all the way full, a little goes a long way. The smaller size is good for travel. It is a bit pricey but most of their products are.

Smells good, applies smooth and lightweight, feels good on and lives up to its original manufacturing batch. The price is kinda shady since it is the exact price buying these two items separately would cost, I was hoping for a tiny discount in buying them together.. but I guess not? Overall this stuff is expensive but I love it!

Gosh do I love this body cream! I’ve been using it for years now and have gone through countless containers. I’ve tried all the other Sol De Janeiro ones and none of them even come close to the OG.
I guess this is supposed to be new packaging, good thing i have the one im currently using plus 2 backups since im almost out of the one im currently using. So I could compare the old one and the new one. The new packaging compared to the old is super similar but with just a few small differences. At a glance though they look nearly identical, and I don’t detect any difference in the formula so that’s a huge plus because it’s already perfect.
Now is this set a good value? No it’s literally the same price as buying the full size ($48) and the travel size ($24) so they equal the exact price of $72. But if you are going to buy them anyways this stuff is the real deal.

I read a lot about this product and with a lot of raving reviews, was very excited to try it. What should I say… smells good, absorbs well, leaves skin moist. But is it worth the money? Not to me. It seems very highly priced (at over $70 at the time of order) for just a body lotion. I am happy with what it does, but there are plenty of products that do not cost nearly as much, so I will probably skip next time.

I really like this body cream…it just makes my skin feel good. I like the scent too. Great that there is a travel container included as well. Works great to just throw in my bag for trips. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the price….I’m not sure it is worth the price tag?
