A little goes a long way with this PHILIP B. Forever Shine Luxury Body Creme, so in that sense, I think the price is okay. It acts as my primary perfume. When I wear this cream, I can not wear any other scent, but I LOVE this scent so I am happy! It reacts wonderfully with my chemistry. It is slightly floral with citrus undertones. I get compliments all day long at work. My friends can’t believe I am only wearing a body cream.

I love the feel of this cream going on leaves your skin feeling nice and moisturized. The cream leaves you feeling moisturized for hours, I was surprised because usually creams that have a strong scent to them tend to leave skin feeling dried out. Now for the scent it’s strong, I really like the way it smells, but if your sensitive to scents this might not be for you. Over all I love this cream, the scent is wonderful and it’s very moisturizing, leaves your skin soft and smooth with a bit of glow.

I was eager to try this body cream that is described as a ‘citrus’ fragrance. As someone who is very sensitive to scented products, and for whom anything that smells perfume-like causes a headache, I usually have better luck with more natural-smelling products. Often, citrus scents work for me. This cream may have a slight citrus undertone, but it is very strongly scented and the citrus is definitely not the primary scent. When I tried a dab on my arm, my husband could smell it across the room and said it smells like walking by the perfume counter at a department store. For most people, that’s not a negative. For me, it unfortunately doesn’t work.
The cream itself if wonderful. It goes on smoothy and absorbs very quickly, leaving behind nothing by smooth, hydrated skin. This definitely has the feel and look of a luxury product, I just wish it came in an unscented version. This one will, sadly, have to be passed on to a friend.

The body creme is very luscious, feels silky and hydrating to the skin. Absorbs quickly. It’s a bit difficult to read the ingredients on the box since it’s a shiny gold reflective. I had to go to the product listing to see the ingredients. The creme comes in a lovely glass jar. As for as scent goes, it’s strong. The 4th ingredient list is Fragrance (Parfum) and you can really smell it right out of the jar. It’s a bit overpowering floral perfume. I guess I was thinking given the other high end botanical ingredients I would smell more natural floral and woodsy scent, just reminds me of walking through the perfume department at Nordstroms. I was hoping to smell more of the woodsy scent. I realize that scent is such a personal preference and for me it was just a tad over the top floral perfume scented. My first impression about this body cream was that it has a very strong masculine perfume scent to it. If you like perfumed body products than this might be it. Reminds me of scents which you typically see in Middle Eastern fragrances. The cream does absorb fast and appears to hydrate skin, but the scent lingers for a long time. The packaging and container itself which is plastic don’t “speak” luxury at all. The scent is too overpowering for me, so I am not using it as my body cream, but I use it occasionally as a hand cream. I think you have to like the scent a lot to be able to use it regularly. But as cream itself it might be a good product.

This is a generous amount of cream, and a little goes a long way. It feels nice and smooth when applying, and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. While the scent is DIVINE, it IS a bit strong. I can see how using it all over your body can make the scent overwhelming. I thought about cutting it with my favorite unscented lotion so I could use it on my body, but that seemed a shame, since the feel of this cream alone is really wonderful. So I have decided just to use it as a hand cream. I am not sure about this being a “luxury” cream though, as the ingredients listed are comparable to other brands that are not marketed as a luxury product. It also comes in a hard plastic container (not glass as some of the other reviewers stated), and does not come with a cream spatula that most luxury creams in this form come with. Overall, this cream is fine, but not sure its any better than other “mid-level” creams on the market

It’s a thick pot of body creme that is nice, but lemme tell you. Fragrance is like the third ingredient on the list and yeah, it smells like it too. This baby is STRONGLY scented, I smell like I was dipped in the men’s body wash aisle or something. I feel like I smell like a man who drives a Lincoln escalade with six black ice air fresheners on the rear view mirror.

Look I’m sure there’s some weird fantasy being conveyed with the smell coming out of this tub, but for almost $100 I can’t imagine what it could be.

First off, the packaging on this product is very nice. The jar arrives in an impressive gold foil box and the jar itself is quite sturdy. The texture of the cream itself is very nice and does feel quite weighty and luxurious. Unfortunately, the cream is extremely heavily scented…the scent of the cream lingers for quite while, making it a bit too overpowering for me. I do think that this cream is a bit overpriced and am not really sure what makes it a “luxury” product other than the branding and the packaging.
