I think these are great. You can’t really slide the floss back and forth, rather it is more of an up and down motion. But you can easily get it behind the wire to floss. SO much quicker than threading through for each tooth. We use them every night whereas before there would be many skipped nights from not wanting to deal with threading it the old lengthy way. So even if it isn’t as good as regular flossing I feel like it might be better in the long run rather than skipping out a lot because you don’t feel like doing it the old way.

As a hygienist, I prefer using these over threaders when patient has braces. Threaders require good dexterity and are time consuming. Patient compliance to daily flossing is higher.
