Same wonderful smell that I remember. I don’t use bar soap (I use liquid) because of the soap scum it leaves, and Safeguard is no exception. I use it daily for shaving, and it works great for it. Bars arrived in perfect condition! Very pleased.

The tan Safeguard bars are hard to find. I like the fact that they are antibacterial and they have that clean smell not perfumey.

I decided to try a different soap and happened across Safeguard. I prefer an antibacterial soap and have been down the road of the more natural ones like Defense soap. But I wanted to give these a try. The scent on this soap is very strong. It’s not unpleasant as it smells pretty much like soap but it’s a very strong scent. Once you open a bar, you won’t need the matches or air freshener in your bathroom for at least a few days.
When used it feels very nice. Certainly feels moisturizing. Lathers up nicely and time will tell if the antibacterial aspect is effective. The bars seem a bit large but that’s mainly due to their very rounded shape. I prefer a bar with a little bit more of an edge on them to help with grip. Safeguard is shaped like a curved cylinder with rounded ends so it’s easy to drop it. Thankfully I don’t live in a prison!
Overall it’s a nice soap and is comparable to the price of similar soaps at the big box stores.

Safeguard antibacterial soap as been around for many years and is just as good as it was advertised when it was first presented to the public. I had a bad rash on my legs and arms and before I could administer medicinal cream, I washed both legs and arms with safeguard. Together my rash is a thing of the past and I continue to use Safeguard each an every day. Bravo, again, Amazon for a very good and useful product. Walter J. Is there any other soap that is better? Sad to know you cannot find it in the local stores Anywhere in my town, not even a dollar store. This is the best price I have found so I will keep purchasing here. Love the smell, cleanliness and I wish it was a larger bar like it used to be.
