I had a temporary crown placed while the permanent one was being made. It fell off while I was eating something and bought this based on the advice from an article I saw. It works really well! It keeps the crown on for the entire day. It’s stuck pretty good at first and then at night when I take it off to clean the tooth underneath I just have to wiggle it a bit and it comes off. Only downside is that it stains the tooth and leaves it looking pinkish.

1. The smaller 0.75oz tube of Fixodent is definitely more “pocketable” than the 0.75oz tube of PolyGrip.
2. Fixodent is more precise and definitely easier to apply than PolyGrip in the 0.75oz tube size.
3. Fixodent lasts longer and holds in more demanding conditions than PolyGrip in my experience.
4. In the 0.75oz size comparison, the Fixodent is definitely easier to use to the last than the PolyGrip tube.

This fixodent product works great for my needs. I have tried other ones. Hold dentures in place for me . Once a day only application I need. Tube lasts over 2 weeks or more.
