I bought this in late January 2023 and have been using it daily since then. It is now April 18th at the time of writing this. I keep it hanging on a hook in the shower, out of the direct water path, and there’s an exhaust fan that runs while the shower is in use + a few minutes after. I have used a combination of regular bar soap, acne body wash, and hydrating body wash on this brush.

As other people have noted, the bristles are softer than other brushes in my experience, so if you’re looking for something a bit more scrubby you may be somewhat unsatisfied. That said, I am pleasantly surprised. I have not had any issues with bristles shedding, nor with the wood splintering. I don’t see any mold or growth on the brush or the bristles, and there’s no discoloration or swelling. I will be purchasing this again when it’s time to replace my brush, and hopefully the next one is just as good.

I had tried other brands of bamboo brushes that I had purchased at both CVS and at my grocery store, but those had issues with the bristles. They would shed constantly. Two of them also had removable “heads” that were supposed to hold together with a friction fit (the idea being you could take the head off and hold it to scrub areas that didn’t require the long handle), but the head kept popping off when I was trying to wash my back. Eventually one of those heads hit the floor and cracked in half, making the brush useless, which spurred me to look up brushes on Amazon. I was a bit leery about buying yet another bamboo brush from some random Amazon store, but I figured worst case I’m just out $7. Thankfully, this brush has been totally fine in my case.

I don’t doubt that people have run into issues; quality issues certainly happen and I wouldn’t be surprised to find that a cheap brush has lax quality control. But I do think some of those issues can be addressed with proper placement/storage of the brush, proper ventilation, and rinsing off the brush to remove any leftover soap/body wash/etc before storing.

Bristles are way too soft for me, and they don’t hold suds at all. I have to reload with more body wash to finish my shower. Didn’t have to do that with my old brush. Quality is nice with no shedding bristles, and the long handle is convenient. If you want a soft brush for sensitive skin, this would be a good choice.

I love that the handle is solid wood, curved, and smooth. It fits in my hand comfortably, and the curve makes it easy to reach all parts of my back. Plus it’s long, and the bristles are both soft-ish and scrubby. 10/10, would recommend!

Muy ergonómico, Cerdas suaves, de fácil cuidado. Recomiendo secar o agitar para sacar el exceso de agua y conservarlo por más tiempo, ya que la humedad tiende a ponerlos obscuros por el moho.

This is a nice brush that helps with back washing and scrubbing in the shower. The bristles are not too hard, and the handle is long enough to reach up and down the back. I have had it for several months now, and it is still in good condition. No complaints, and I would recommend it to others.

This is a nice brush, good length, nicely made. Bristles are softer than the last brush I had, but it works ok. Some folks will prefer softer

I’m increasingly arthritic and have trouble reaching my back these days, so I decided it was time to buy a back-scrubbing brush for the shower. This one is perfect. All wood, no plastic, a long enough handle to reach between my shoulder blades, and the shape conforms nicely to my hand. The bristles are soft and actually exfoliate, and they’re dense enough to hold the soap. Should last me a long, long time.

I wasted too much time with silly plastic brushes! The bamboo handle holds up even though I use it twice a day. The bristles are slightly less stiff than I had hoped, but they’ve held up very well.

Cerdas muito macias e o cabo me pareceu de boa qualidade.

I like the Eco Tools Bath Bristle Brush, it does the job well enough. The length is good, with the handle being 12″ and the brush head being 5″ long for a total length of 17″. I like that it’s made from renewable bamboo. The bristles are soft, they lather up nicely with body wash and work well to gently scrub my back without worrying about it scratching if I press too hard. (I’m a woman in my 60’s with dry, sensitive skin.) There is a ribbon through a hole at the top of the handle to make hanging the brush to dry easy. The handle does have a slight arc to it, but it’s not enough (see 1st picture, it doesn’t lie flat). I wish there was more of a curve – it is just a little bit awkward to connect the bristle head to my back without contorting my arm overhead and sideways. I have reduced range of motion in both shoulders, so a curved handle would be better. I also wish there was more of a hand grip- when your hands are wet and soapy, it tends to be hard to maintain a good hold as you’re reaching and scrubbing. Compared to not having any back brush, this is absolutely a lot better. I can wash my back now, whereas before I simply couldn’t reach. Overall, this a good, inexpensive brush, with the best part being the soft bristles.

Gift packaged perfectly – ready for a give away gift. Love this product.. As the product states: eco friendly and bristles are not harsh on the skin. Lasts a long time.

I buy these back brushes every 6 mths. to a year. I like the bristles, they feel natural. It scrubs well. The handle is long. I never shower without scrubbing my back. The only issue is that from it hanging in the shower with use, the wood will begin to develop some mold on it, that is why I purchase it again when this happens. I don’t like the plastic back scrubbers because they are not as easy to hang on to. I will buy again when needed.
