The trimmer does trim nicely. Easy to use and clean. Does trim close, and it’s not noisy. The appearance is okay.

We’ve had this for over a year and it works well. I think the battery lasted about a year before we had to change it. And to be fair, there’s two of us using it.

I have had this thing for 6 years now and it’s still going strong. Friend asked for recommendation and it inspired me to write a review! I always hated shaving my bikini area because it would cause such bad razor bumps and I hated the growing back in phase. Buzzing has changed my life for the better. I haven’t tried any others so I don’t know if it’s the best out there but it serves me well and I don’t find the need to try any others.
I see other reviews saying people have nicked themselves and I have maybe once or twice because I wasn’t being intentional enough when using it. Just like any tool with a blade, a little technique and care is needed to use safely but I’ve never had a really back nick from it. Just my experience though.

The trimmer itself does a good job. It gets almost as close as when I’ve tried shaving. The battery has lasted a long time.
The razor attachment is useless. It doesn’t work. The length attachments were also disappointing. Mine came with 2 of the 3mm and no 5mm. I contacted amazon and contacted Philips directly and no one would help me with the replacement. They both referred me to the other. This is frustrating as I need the longer length to avoid irritation. I finally decided to just buy a new trimmer with the correct attachment, but it won’t be this one again.

I cant stress this enough. This electric razer sucks ass!! Idc what good reviews you come across I’ve read them all. I read all the good and bad reviews before purchasing this razer and went ahead and purchased one anyway just to take my chances and was hopeful from listening to the good reviews and ignored the bad reviews. Which most people will do anyway. Anyone reading this will probably purchase this anyway and you will just simply have to find out fir yourself. The product looks great in the package, I loved all the attachments and it was small which I liked and made it easier to use. I even read the good reviews and listened to them when they said to use the trimmer and then use the other piece to trim it even shorter. Both of them pulled on my hair, no matter which way I was going uo or down. Both blades did the same thing which was shocking. I figured one of them had to be useful. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and with this corona virus going on I cant go get a wax before my birth which was my original plan. I can shave with a normal razer because I will get really bad razer bumps and irritation. So I went with this product. I’m extremely annoyed that the product sucks and wasted my money. I will be attempting to try and get my money back but we shall see what amazon has to say when I complain. Crossing my fingers 🤞 Anyway dont waste your time and money seriously. Take my word for it. Now I have to try and find something else that will hopefully work before birth. Wish me luck.

In multiple places on this product description, it says it can be used wet or dry, but then if you look at the user guide, the very first warning is to never use it while wet, in the bath or shower. The trimmer works fine enough but this is false advertising. Also the razor head does not work at all.
