This is the best razor i have used in at least a decade.the blades outlast & out perform any namebrand disposable shavers period. Affordability expect to pay at least twice as much for name brand shaver of this quality. Very pleased with purchase, will buy again.

I’m very impressed with with this razor, I was skeptical at first to purchase it due to the low price. I was tired of paying absurd amounts of money for razors and replacement cartridges. I tried this and I am so glad I did. It actually is better than my Mach 3.

Good product for the money but not quite a 5 rating because the blades are not as sharp as other leading brands but still very good.

I’ve tried many different razor products lines, usually I’m dissatisfied my favorite razors till this point were the sensor xl from Gillette. This private label razor system from Amazon has been exquisite. This razor is good for legs and face, no nicks, and a swiveling neck.

I’ve used both variations of this starting with the five blade and then moving to the three blade option. I find that the three bait is better if you have sensitive skin or you have to shave more frequently. The five tends to cut me a little bit more than three blade, maybe because of the height of the head. Overall, I’ll stick with the three blade which is comparable to most name brand Razors

When I first saw this product offering and the awesome deal Amazon had going at the time (January 2023), I was excited. I bought two of the 21-packs, which meant I had 2 handles and 40 cartridges. The value seemed insane! And the reviews I read were overall pretty positive so I was looking forward to it.

Quick backstory: I’ve gone through a good number of razor brands and models over the years. For whatever reason, it seemed like after I had used a particular option for a while, my shaves got worse. i.e. Dollar Shave Club was great for a long time but after a while the shaves started sucking. Similar story with Gillette Mach 3 refill cartridges, even when they came from different sources (i.e. Amazon, Costco, grocery store). Tried Gillette Mach 3 Sensitive disposables and those worked pretty good but wasteful/expensive for regular use. Then I found my way into Harry’s 5-blade razors and those work great but a little too close and not sensitive enough (I think 3-blade razors are my thing). Although more expensive than I prefer, Harry’s is still my preferred option over these Amazon Basics 3-blade Razors.

Onto the Amazon Basics offering… overall I don’t like them. The first shave is kinda rough. 2nd shave is actually “okay” and makes it seem like the blades just had to break in on the first shave. But then by the end of the 3rd shave it’s dragging hard and I have to dispose of the cartridge. Also the blades seem to clog more than any razor I’ve used before which means it takes longer to shave. So far I’ve gone through ~30-35 of the Amazon Basics 3-blade refill cartridges so I’d say my assessment is fair.

For my use case (decently thick beard, shave every-other-day) I wouldn’t recommend these. Even getting 3 shaves per cartridge the value is still reasonable but I’m only still using them to not be wasteful.

The Amazon Basics 3-Blade Motion Sphere Razor set is okay for day-to-day shaving needs, but it’s nothing extraordinary. The razor provides a reasonably smooth shave, and the motion sphere design does help with maneuverability around curves and angles. The dual lubrication strip is a nice touch for added comfort.

However, the blades don’t feel as sharp or long-lasting as some of the more premium brands, so I find myself needing to replace them more frequently. The value is decent for the price, especially with 20 cartridges included, but it’s pretty average overall. Good enough for everyday shaving, but don’t expect premium performance.
