The smell lasts all day, I used two small drops but it just stays smelling all day. I plan to probably use it with a no scent balm.

This is technically a beard butter, but the definition of the word balm is becoming more generic.
I use a hair drier to make application easier. Butters are little more difficult than beeswax balms to apply.
I have been using this balm for about 2 weeks, so it is limited. I usually return to edit the original reviews. So far I like it. It has better hold than Viking Revolution which I like very much. I just wanted more hold. I have a 12 in thin-ish white beard probably because my cpap chinstrap cuts some of the hairs. The first 8 inches is pretty decent. The last 4 has noticeably fewer hairs, so I have a pointed beard and it looks not so bad. The beard hair diameter is thinner than other hair types.
It gives pretty good hold even after 4-hrs. The thing I am not enthused about and it was true of another beard balm that also had butter is that the hairs separate more and does not look as fluffy as when I use a non-butter balm like Viking Revolution. Ironically, the beard appears fuller in the evening. Maybe I put too much on? I might.
For the price, you get a lot and if it does not work out for you, you’re not out much money. Try it. It will be similar to other butters and then you can decide if a butter balm is right for you.

This stuff is great and does hold extremely well. Just put a very small amount on your hand and rub them together to warm up the product then apply to your beard. I use any oil and or beard softer before this product this is my final product I use to hold.

On the back it says” for people of color” well I’m white and it’s a great product. The product is thick and will leave beard looking shiny but very oily/ greasy. It has a neutral smell/ no added fragrance. It’s not like regular balms, this one makes your beard smooth after you wash it out.
