As far as mints go, these are minty but not overly strong. Bag size is 4.5 inches tall x 3.5 inches wide. Each bag holds 20 mints and weighs 22 grams total. Each mint weighs in at 1.1g. They are pretty small, about the size of 1-1.5 Tic Tacs. For comparison a Tic Tac weighs in at 1g. Looking at ~$3.40/bag for these. To answer another question, they last approximately 2.5-4 minutes, if you are sucking on them while biting down between your aligners. Considering my purpose for these: something hard to bite on and seat the aligners, freshen breath and sugar-free, and avoiding taking aligners out and snacking between meals, you can find other sugar-free and/or Xylitol sweetened mints on Amazon for less money but I haven’t tried them since I just received these. It’s sort of a niche product and while the cost isn’t prohibitive they’re not really a “value”. I may try other mints just for the heck of it.

Really handy when you want to get the aligners seated correctly. Very minty too which is great

These mints are nice to have as a way to insure that your Invisalign trays are fitting snugly on your teeth. They taste great, too. They are easy to use and are well made as a tasty tool to insure a good fit.

I recently got smile direct club and noticed that clear aligners make your mouth DRY! Really dry.

Even with brushing my teeth after every meal and before and after bed I noticed sometimes my aligners had a funky smell due to the dry mouth.

My husband had found these mints and I have to say they did help.

    Pros:

    No bad breath

No gross chewies that stay soaked in gross spit
    Portable and convenient

    Yummy taste

    Sugar free

    Cons:

    Over priced

Easily break when using to seat aligners

Made aligners rough; ( I had noticed after using maybe 2 or 3 times that my aligners were no longer smooth and instead were rough where I had used the mints to seat my aligners, now since I have smile direct club and change the aligners very frequently this doesn’t bother me much however it did cross my mind that this might not be good for the aligners as instructions for aligners specifically states not to bite down to seat aligners as this can damage them and this is why the soft “chewies” are provided.

3 stars simply bc they are overpriced as mentioned in other reviews and I do wish they were softer so they were safer for the aligners and didn’t make them rough as this could be a problem for customers who wear there aligners for more than a week or two.

Not sure if I’d buy again might possibly look for another solution.

I wear Invisalign aligners and my dentist said I should chew on a silicone “munchie” to help seat my aligners after cleaning then and when I put them in my mouth. The munchies mean I’m putting my hands in my mouth more than I’d like especially when in public.

I saw a YouTube video mentioning these MoveMints and thought I would give them a try. I’m extremely happy with them. They taste nice but not an overpowering flavor. Just a light minty taste. They are firm and can withstand biting down on them without breaking.

They have a nice unique shape that fits all of my teeth in one direction or another. Simply put in your clean aligners and a Movemint. It does take some practice using your tongue and cheeks to position it between all your teeth but you get the hang of it quickly.

It dissolves nicely. It doesn’t leave a white sediment in my mouth nor does it leave any tiny bits or pieces. You aren’t chewing it as if to eat it. Simply bite down on it and feel your aligner slide into place.

By the time I’ve bit down on each tooth, I have a small amount left that quickly dissolves away.

They are very pleasant to use and I’m so happy I have them a go. I use them after every cleaning.

Currently using Invisalign. Not sure if they’re entirely suitable with the sugar? But hasn’t seem to affected my aligners or teeth using them.

I like the taste of the orange mint. It is a burst of freshness during the day when I have my aligners in and definitely freshens my breath. They do not crumble despite other reviews. They do work ok to set my aligners, but I still prefer chewies over the mint to set my aligners, only because these tend to aggravate my sore teeth since they are harder. Would still recommend and plan to buy again

  10. Ella

They really help with setting my aligners. And they taste really nice.

I love mints & these aren’t as strong as altoids but they work great to freshen breath & set aligners! I HATE chewies, they’re uncomfortable and awkward. I started invisalign and I pop these in non stop at work, they’re discreet enough to use normally throughout the work day versus chomping on a chewie. They’re really pricey so I’m looking for other options. I think if you only use 1-2 per day then it’s OK. But I could eat 2 bags in one day at work so if anyone finds a budget friendly version let me know!

Mints are good they taste great, I like the odd shape. One hard bite and they break, I feel like they don’t last long enough to assist in helping movement with my aligners. Although great way to freshen up when your out and about.

Great product probably won’t buy again though.

Expensive for what they are but I use them with my Invisalign. I’ve spent plenty on that an extra few quid doesn’t matter.
