I typically avoid leaving reviews for deodorants or perfumes since personal chemistry plays such a big role in how they work. For products like these, I often skip the reviews and try them out myself. However, this one is a definite no for me. There’s absolutely no reason a full-body deodorant should cause a burning sensation, even when sprayed from 8 inches away. I’ve been trying various “whole body” deodorants as a safer alternative for sensitive areas, especially since products like Summer’s Eve contain so many toxins. Yet, no matter what I try, I always end up going back to LUME. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it doesn’t burn, and it’s formulated by an OB, which gives me confidence in its safety.

I originally had the rub on stick version of this one and I can tell you that it lasted so long, even to the point where i felt i had to really scrub it off at night in the shower. The smell on this one is nice, kinda smells like laundry which I love but it doesn’t last as long as the other kind. But that isn’t a big deal for me since i mostly just use it when I’m at the gym. The smell can be strong right when you put it on but it the strength of it dissipates after half and hour and it then more subtle which I like. If you just shaved and you put this on, I found that it stings a little but not a lasting sting it’s more for a few seconds when you put it on. I love it and will buy it again, makes my life when I’m on the go a little easier.

It cannot handle heavy sweating. So no hot days, no long work days, no getting wet and having a long day. It also burns when applied to areas other than my armpits. I tried my chest and back of my neck and it burned when applied.
It smells nice. It works for a little while. You just have to keep reapplying. I work long hours in a very active job, it cannot handle the full 12 hour day. But it’s ok.

I already love this stuff because it smells like a day at the beach, the summery scent. I use the non-spray native deodorant so I wanted to try this out! This is way better than the other sprays because it’s healthier, I bought an aluminum secret deodorant spray and it never seemed to work and it had aluminum in it so I just threw it out since cancer runs in my family and now I use this combined with non-spray version.
UPDATE: Sometimes it may smell like Alcohol but it’s been working amazingly for me so far! I reapply it throughout the day and use it with the other deodorant just in case. I recently ordered the Secret aluminum-free deodorant dry spray and it works stronger than this, so if you really want to feel dry and non-smelly all day and this doesn’t quite cut it for you, I would recommend trying the Secret one but I can’t overuse secret because I get a rash, and native has never caused me a rash on my armpits. I have eczema/sensitive skin.

Spray easy to apply dry fairly quickly. Works well but when temperature reached 100 degrees I noticed it started to fail. A little bit to much Perfume sent for me ; especially when I am going to wear a Designer perfume for the day or night it conflicts with the scent of my Perfume.

I bought this to try on a trip to DisneyWorld. That high heat, high humidity is not complimentary to staying dry and smelling good. I usually try a chub rub type product so but I took a chance on this.
I have been using native deodorant for 3+ years and I love it. So I wanted a safe option that wasn’t full of chemicals.
I applied regular deodorant to my underarms, and sprayed this inside my thighs, under my tummy, under my breasts, and under my arms. I normally sweat a lot, so I did still sweat under my arms and under my boobs. But everywhere else stayed really fresh. Disney is an extreme type of heat so the fact that I still smelled fresh halfway through the day was amazing. We would head back to the resort for lunch, where I would reapply the spray to those areas and change my clothes. It make me feel so fresh and ready to head to another park.
I highly recommend. This will be a staple in my toiletry bag.

I decided to try Native Whole Body Deodorant after hearing great things, and it has definitely lived up to the hype! From the first use, I was impressed by how well it worked. Not only does it keep me fresh all day, but it’s also gentle on my skin, which is a big plus since I’ve had issues with irritation from other deodorants.
