Use for whole body deoderant. Worry less about breast cancer with the info leading us to believe it could be in the regular deoderants. This product really works and really lasts.

I have one armpit that gives me issues, I call it “Brad Pitt”. My partner says on its worst days it smells like an Italian sub with extra onions. Not the scent I’m going for. I’ve tried all types of sports, men, clinical deodorants, not much helped. So I saw a cream sample of this & tried it for a week and I was happy it worked. I caught it on sale on Amazon 2pack for $22. So I ordered the peony rose solid. So far its been working really well and I’m pleased with the scent and how long lasting it is. Tried during a workout & it did great. Even great for under boob sweat, etc.

This has been the only deodorant that I don’t need to reapply and have no underarm odor. The only thing is that I am not a fan of the deodorant scents itself, they all smell really weird. So far I have tried the tangerine, lavender, and the powder scents..still haven’t found a good smelling one. I will keep continuing to use because I have no underarm odor with this, just wish they would find a way to make the scents more appealing

I bought this after seeing good reviews. But the actual truth is, it is horrible. I’ve tried wearing it twice on days that I’m just rubbing errands and it’s not that hot. The product does not work. Sweat smell is awful and the product did nothing. I typically use Secret and will go back to that. Wasted over $60 on something in throwing away. Garbage. Don’t buy. Stuff on the shelf in regular stores provided better results.

This stuff is amazing! Settle in as this will be a long review. I work in a hot sweaty factory. I never had problem with smelly feet until I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and had to get special shoes. Now my feet stink all the time. They sweat so much in these shoes that I can smell my own feet and it’s disgusting. I also have to sit in a pile of my own sweat all day. My panties are usually soaked with sweat and underneath my bra sweats so much that I can wring out my bra when I get home. My bra stinks so bad because it’s just full of sweat. Deodorant and FDS spray can only do so much. So I decided to try Lume. Oh my God, like light and day! I put the Lume on my feet bottoms, tops, between my toes. I put it under my big boobs and in all the cracks and crevices of my woman parts. So I went to work in my hot, sweaty factory and I still sweated all day long. My feet were wet, my bra was wet and my panties were wet. But miraculously there was no smell! None. Nada. This had to be a fluke. So I took a shower and did the same thing. Lume on my feet, under boob and woman parts. I did as much stuff as I could to sweat. I climbed stairs instead of using the elevator, I exerted myself as much as I could. I was a sweaty mess. And no smell! Seriously, no smell. So I decided to really put it to the test. The commercial says this last for like 70 hours. So as hard as it was for me and as gross, I took a shower, put the Lume on and went to work and sweated for 3 days without taking a shower. I did not reapply the Lume. And no smell! No way. Yes way! This stuff is amazing! Amazing! I did test it a few more times and this is what I discovered. It does last for 3 days. If you let it go more than that you will smell like a corpse. On the fourth day it’s as if all the smell comes back at once. The stink was unnatural. So don’t go more than two or three days without a shower.

    Updated review:
Lume reached out to me and provided a refund. A lovely surprise from an awesome company.
I still absolutely love Lume, but will continue to avoid this version as it clearly does not work with my skin.
    🙂

    *************************************************************************
I used Lume for the past couple of years and always enjoyed it. It became my go-to deodorant.
I liked the cream-like texture of the ‘stick’ the best.
Unknowingly, when I ordered more this last time, the formula had changed.
I was surprised when I opened it to discover it was more of a solid than a cream. I had no issue with that. It seemed to work the same…. for a couple of days.
Then the burning started on morning. It did not last long and I chalked it up to a fluke.
However, the next day I applied it and not only did it burn, but my underarms became flaming red and incredibly hot. I had to jump into the shower just to get the burning to calm down.
And my underarms remained red and tender for several days.
I am very very disappointed. I am disappointed that I can no longer use the product. I am disappointed in wasting money. I am disappointed that the company messed with something that was awesome.
The search for a good deodorant resumes again.
A shame. This was a really nice one before they changed it to something incredibly painful.

TLDR: works well, reduces sweat for me, and doesn’t leave sweat stains on cloths.

I’ve tried so many times to switch from antiperspirant to deodorant, but every single one felt sticky in my armpits and was just a sensory nightmare! I usually dusted cornstarch over the top, but kept going back to Secret.

When Lume first came out a few years ago, I gave in to the cheesy ads and tried it. It was AMAZING! My armpits didn’t feel sticky, and it actually kept me odor free. The original formulation smelled pretty horrible on application, but that faded in under half an hour. But the crazy thing is that even though this is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant, I wasn’t really sweating. If my whole body was sweating, my underarms would too, but they didn’t sweat all the time like this used to.

I was sad when Lume reformulated and discontinued the vanilla scent, but then I tried peony rose, and it’s so so pretty!! So the benefits of Lume and a new, amazing scent! I do wish they would come up with some more because I like variety. I hate the powder scent, despise anything lavender, am allergic to coconut, and the clean tangerine made my armpits itch (previous formulation– the new one might be better).

My daughter is even more disappointed in the scents (she’s not a fan of peony rose), but she’s converted– at least for the summer. She’s been faithful to Native for their amazing variety of scents (I agree, but can’t use it because they use coconut oil), but she recently discovered that when she sweats while wearing it, she gets horrible brown sweat stains!! She’ll stick with it for the winter, but said she’ll wear Lume in the summer. It doesn’t have the same sweat reduction on her as it does on me, but it does NOT leave sweat stains for either of us.
