My wife was disappointed with her old wax warmer’s inability to heat wax to a suitable temperature. This little guy was a substantial upgrade. She found that it heated up much faster and reached a temperature that was ideal for her wax.
She appreciated that it had an adjustable temperature control, which allowed her to customize the heat for different types of wax. The included silicone applicator was also a convenient addition.
Overall, this wax warmer has been a great improvement over her old one, providing my wife with consistent wax heat and viscosity.

I have had a wax melt warmer for at least 15 years. I have noticed over these years that it takes a long time to warm up. I have to use the melt setting to melt the wax and then decrease the temperature to the medium setting several hours before using. Basically, this means I need to decide the night before I’m going to use it …to turn it on and leave it on all night. Then in the middle of the night change the temperature to a safe waxing temperature so it’s ready to go the next morning….. I just knew there had to be something better.
This wax melt warmer is digital and it heats up so quickly that when I plugged it in for the photos for about 30 seconds, I was concerned about putting the bag of wax melts back in for storage might melt the bag! I love the silicone insert as well as the silicone stir stick. In the past I had purchased the large popsicle stick, looking, stir sticks for mixing, and the skinny tiny ones for applying. I guess that’s the only thing missing, are the little tiny ones for applying the wax.
When I use hot wax, it looks like I’m getting ready to do surgery in my bathroom… I hate the way the wax gets on everything if I’m not this cautious. I cover up the countertop with paper towels then I put a cover around the warmer so that I don’t drip on it and then I put a cover over the base of my mirror so I don’t get a mess on it. Next I layer sections of paper towel, so that, as I use the skinny sticks to apply the wax, then apply the fabric and remove the fabric, I can fold that section and go onto the next. I’m sure this sounds like a lot of work but I have found that if I don’t do this…. is when I really have a lot of work. If I’m not this careful everything needs to have removed from it, my way it’s all covered. It all gets thrown away in the end and it’s clean when I’m done.
I enjoyed using this product, and the height of my enjoyment was the temperature control so that when everything was melted, it wasn’t too hot. I really appreciate this detailed control of the temperature and as I do more research and experiment with it more …I know I will have the temperature just right for my skin type and my hair removal.
At the time of this review the smart wax melt warmer is selling for $9.99. In my opinion, that is a steal. It would still be a 5 star buy at $18.99. For the sake of comparison, this product is so much better than what was offered 15 to 20 years ago. A definite five stars score at the current price.

I like this wax warmer. It works well and I like that it came with a silicone applicator and some hard wax beads. The silicone lining is convenient as well making for less mess and easy removal! The only down side is that you can only melt a small amount of wax at a time. To have a larger amount requires you to turn the temp way higher than you’d need to to get all the wax melted without it solidifying in the center

Cute size. Love the rubber pot insert- easy to remove and the carrying handle. Easy to transport. Temperature holds well without being too hot. Just a little confused as to why it beeps & flashes?

I really wanted to like this since it was cute and had decent reviews. I have to say that after having it for a few months now it hasn’t gotten better. I thought initially that maybe it needed time to “break in” but it doesn’t heat up the wax evenly at all. After having it on even the highest setting for several hours, the wax is still not fully melted in the center, and even the edges where it should be the hottest (and therefore most melted) leaves a stringy mess behind after dipping the stick in. I’ve not experienced this with other pots in the past.
I have always used the Salon Care brand and loved them, but when I accidentally stored my last machine on a slant and all the wax poured out and ruined my machine, I decided to try out a less expensive machine from Amazon. Unfortunately I will probably just eat the cost of this one and just purchase the Salon Care brand that has been a tried and true for me for the past 15 years.

I was worried because the last pot I got off Amazon did NOT go hot enough for body hair, just facial. This little thing? Amazing. Plus silicone insert and stick? Easy cleanup and virtually no waste. 10/10.
