I’m 28 I’ve had my previous trimmer for like 10 years and it was not holding charge getting to loud, rough and didn’t shave much but this Philip one work great. It holds charge, it’s quiet and trims hair quickly and efficiently. Also it’s very nice to hold I like the materials and the design.

This razor is genuinely perfect and affordable. I use it to shave off my beard when it gets super unkempt and long. This razor glides straight through and I’ve had no issues with hair pulling whatsoever. I then use a smaller electric razor to get the tinier hairs this razor goes over.

I purchased the Norelco Philips Multi Groomer Series 3000 mainly to trim the edges of my beard, and while I’m impressed with many aspects of this grooming kit, it didn’t provide as close of a shave as I was hoping for. That said, I really like its sleek design and lightweight feel, making it comfortable to hold and use. The 13-piece kit offers great versatility, and it’s perfect for various grooming needs beyond just beard trimming. Overall, I’m keeping it because everything else works well, but if you’re looking for a super close trim, this may not be the best option.

I debated between 4 and 5 stars on this, for one reason… The on/off slider is small and a little difficult to switch on and off, especially if you have larger fingers which most users of this will have. I went with 5 stars because the quality of the blades, smoothness of operation, included attachments and price point all outweigh the minor inconvenience of the switch.

I trim my beard daily and cut my own hair monthly with this single, under-$25 item. I’ve done this for years, I never maintain or care for it, and it’s shown zero issues or signs of wear. You can shave with it — it gets a close enough shave to look presentable, but not so close it irritates sensitive skin. You can trim your beard and give yourself a fade haircut with it — it comes with enough different guard lengths for a presentable fade. And finally, it costs less than a single night out, and if your experience is like mine, it’ll last you years and years.

I have had various Norelco electric shavers over the years.
The first, and most sophisticated/expensive, was metal and had a lithium battery with status indicator light(s). It came with loads of features and attachments that I never used. It worked for a couple of years and then just stopped working or stopped charging. It did not work with the power cord connected.
The most recent one that failed was less fancy. It worked with or without he cord connected. It developed a fault in the push on-off button. It became intermittent and eventually would not turn on at all.
So this time I deliberately went with a cheap model with a mechanical slide on/off switch. It is very light, which is a nice change. It does not have a lithium battery but that has not been a problem. It has enough attachments for my purposes (a beard), and in any case all the attachments from my earlier Norelcos fit this one.
It seems to speed up and slow down on its own. Maybe that it a problem developing.
So far I like it and If it last 2 years I will be happy.

My first trimmer that is battery powered. Much easier to use without a cord. Lots of attachments, a timy brush, and trims well, all at a reasonable price. There is also a ziplock pouch where you can store everything in. Happy with the purchase.
