As said I love the taste of North American Herb & Spice toothpaste and it does leave my mouth feeling lovely and fresh yay.
I’m still not a fan of the container and all of the stuff they use to contain this product..it’s kind of funny b/c I took stars off for the clear plastic not looking right but if these came with I don’t know something like the caps u see on drink bottles I’d not mind that so much b/c it’s less trash and u have the peace of mind thinking this has not been opened since it left the place where it was made.
Ok onto y I took starts off.. the way these r packaged is not right..it looks like they’ve been resealed..I don’t know y anyone would want to do that and so that’s y I’ve not sent them back.
Usually the clear plastic around the container is smooth were as these only one has a smooth clear plastic covering and the others have this rumpled up clear plastic covering..which is very odd b/c when I get them right from the North American Herb & Spice website they’ve never come to me looking like this.
I’m just letting others known if this tastes funny I’d recommend not to use it again.
I only purchased these here b/c I was ordering from Amazon anyway and they’re cheaper than what I pay at the North American Herb & Spice website for just 1 container and so I thought it can’t hurt to buy them here.
I’m just not a trusting person where Amazon and other websites like it r concerned but if u’ve purchased this product from here and or the main website before and feel this is fine then please don’t let what I say stop u from buying this product.
I mean other than the clear plastic covering the container looks the same as what I’d get from the main website so I’m sure I’m just being silly and something was buggy with the thing that puts the clear plastic covering on the containers.
I’ll most likely do a followup review once I’ve tried them.

Here are the “Ingredients: “mountain spring water, calcium carbonate, peppermint, spearmint, extra virgin olive oil, wild oregano oil P73, sage, rhatany root, geranium, clove bud oil, birch tree extract, eucalyptus leaf oil, papaya extract, natural menthol”.
I was pleasantly surprised by this toothpaste, even though I knew I would like the product just by looking at the all natural, chemical free ingredients. This product contains no cheap fillers like the unnecessary glycerin found in most store bought toothpaste (or shampoo or body wash for that matter). Another reputable company that does not use glycerin in their products, but is somewhat expensive, is “Living Libations” (out of Canada), whose products can now be found on Amazon.
This product contains natural ingredients that are great for teeth and gums. Oregano, like most essential oils, is a powerful antimicrobial combatting bacteria and fungi, as do the other essential oils in this product.
My gums were sensitive and sore due to an old filling leaking. Hence, a new cavity formed (bacteria got trapped), and me needing to replace the old filling with a crown. After getting the crown, I immediately started using this toothpaste.
I also started using this company’s “OregaCare” mouthwash. This/these products reduced the inflammation in my gums significantly and my gums are no longer sore. Additionally, this product also whitens my teeth due to the existence of the calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is significantly better than the overly abrasive silica [aka: sand] found in most toothpaste.
I love this product as it is not only effective, but it is also not overly abrasive like your normal, store bought toothpaste. Most toothpaste and tooth brushes (including the “adult soft”) are overly abrasive which causes tooth erosion, especially if you brush too hard with a manual toothbrush like I have. I have some erosion on my bottom teeth, esp. bottom right as I am right handed and normally brush my teeth with my right hand.
If you tend to brush too hard, brush with your non-dominant hand (this would be my left-hand like most people). Now I brush my teeth with my left-hand and this works great to decrease brushing too hard. If purchasing a manual toothbrush, buy a child’s soft, or, adult extra-soft if you can find it. Or, buy the natural bamboo toothbrushes one can find, for example, at “Natural Grocers”, as most of these are nice and soft.
I now use Oral-B iO electric toothbrush with “‘Gentle Care’ toothbrush heads” for sensitive teeth.
This product is not overly minty at all. The feel of this toothpaste is great as it “glides” over your teeth and gums.
This product is more expensive, at first, than your cheap toothpaste under $5 you can buy at the grocery store. However, you are actually saving money over time and saving your teeth and gum health. Thus, you’re improving your quality of life, by spending a bit more upfront (explicit costs of item when purchased vs. implied costs over time such as overall dental health and quality, trips to dentist, etc.).
I am a Virgo, and as one knows, Virgos are very health conscience and analytical– as in very picky. If this product passes the/my Virgo test, something effective, healthy, and stimulating/fun is going on. ; ) In sum, this product provides the more difficult to find, but much better for you holistic option to dental health.
This product is “Practical Perry” approved.

The flavor is so good and oregano is awesome for oral health. Especially during cold season. My husband loved it as well so I will always buy this. Makes your mouth feel so clean

I love this toothpaste. It helps with sore gums. Oregano is a great natural antibiotic. About the container, which I wish was just a normal tube, here is a tip. If you have an electric toothbrush, your problem with this container is solved. Press the bottom of your electric toothbrush into the bottom of this dispenser gently. Stop when you meet slight resistance. Then repeat later if you need to. You may not have to do this right away, but eventually the plastic piece inside the bottom of the container stops rising up like it is supposed to do. Then it will need a little pressure from underneath. If you use just the bottom of an ordinary toothbrush to push up that little plastic piece, you may press too much on one side and the plastic piece will get lopsided and not work. My electric toothbrush bottom is just the right size to press evenly across the whole plastic piece so that I can use up every bit of this expensive toothpaste.

I love the ingredients and taste of this toothpaste. It’s super awesome and even my kids could use it. However, the biggest problem is with how this tube dispenses the toothpaste. It easily gets clogged and when I tried to push up the bottom of th tube as instructed, it all came shooting out the bottom and broke wasting a lot of the product. There has to be another way to dispense this that actually works with the thickness of this paste.

I heard someone saying how beneficial oregano is so I thought I would try this toothpaste. It’s wonderful! My husband loves it now as well as my mother & sister. Teeth are clean & breath is fresh! Love this toothpaste! I don’t know about the whitening but this is an excellent product!
