This was the 1st razor I bought to try the switch to single edge blades after 25+ years of shaving with the big brand multi-bladed razors. After a week or two of getting used to it, I’d grown to really love this shave that this razor produces.

I happily used this razor for 9 months, and then the threaded part of the handle stripped. I was kind of ticked off that something I spent $50 died after 9 months, but KEEP READING!

Convinced that the switch to single edge was indeed where I wanted to stay, I bought a cheap $18 single edge razor handle. And THAT is when I really learned that this handle has something special about it. The cheaper razor handle just wasn’t as smooth or comfortable as this Bevel brand had been. Had I purchased the cheap one outright, I probably would have switched back to multi razors. Fortunately, the handle of the cheap one fit the head of this Bevel model, and I really appreciated that this handle is something special!

It’s unfortunate that it stripped, BUT, I’m happily shaving with my centaur version of this razor. I guess I’d recommend it, but be careful not to overtighten it! It really produces a superior shave. Happy Shaving!

I have been using this for what feels like ages now and the safety razor is still in pristine condition and is greatly reliable and over the long term, the affordable option, excellent quality and a wonderful buy!

I purchased this razor about 3 years ago and I must say, this is the best razor I have ever owned. I am a firefighter and I have to shave regularly. Before using this razor, shaving was a guessing game. I would get razor bumps and have to try other razors until I found one that didn’t irritate my skin. But since using the Bevel razor, I have enjoyed 3 years of improved skin tone and comfortability. If you are in the market for a quality safety Razor, Bevel should be your choice! And if you are African American or have curly hair, DEFINITELY give Bevel a try! You won’t regret it.

Mild to medium, well balanced and finished. Feels good in hand.

40 years ago, my Dad gave me my first razor, which was a safety razor. Somewhere in my 20’s, I switched over to using cartridge razors after a brief and disappointing experiment with electric shavers. I have a tough beard so electrics were more prone to yank hairs out rather than cut them. No bueno. As cartridge razors advanced through the years, they’ve tried to cram more and more blades closer and closer together which really just make them easier to clog with hair. They’re also super expensive to replace the cartridges and I decided to go back to a simple safety razor recently. This one is decent, basic and definitely does the job on coarse hair. The blades are as sharp as the Devil’s tongue. There is a learning curve with safety razors and the 30 degree angle. It’s best to let the weight of the razor do the work and not press against your face too hard when you shave. Also, be mindful of any moles or bumps on your face as nicking them can and will happen with safety razors. It will take a little practice. I’m not sure if they still make styptic pencils for stopping bleeding but it might not be a bad idea to pick one up, too.

Excelente servicio, el producto llegó antes del tiempo estimado y en buenas condiciones, muy satisfecho.

This is probably a wonderful razor, but it’s definitely not for a beginner. I was terrified that I would cut my upper lip to shreds-lol. I took hubby’s suggestion and bought a cheap bag of Bics. I am learning and so far I have managed to not myself. Hopefully I’ll become confident enough to graduate to this sleek looking, rather heavy razor.

I started to develop some post-inflammatory pigmentation along my moustache line, with the use of other common shavers, and so someone recommended Bevel to me. I definitely get a very close shave with this product. After a few weeks of use, there seems to be some decreased ingrown hair formation.

I really like the weight of the unit, which makes the whole process easy as you do not have to apply much external pressure. It also has a very cool design, and replacement blades are very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

It is a lot heavier than any razor I’ve ever held, probably twice as heavy as any. The handle doesn’t stay tight so you are always twisting it. The directions say hold at a 30 degree angle. I shave my head so holding constantly at 30 degrees is impossible. The first time I shaved I put a nice gash in my head. 25 yrs of shaving my head I’ve never had a cut close to that. That was it for me.

I really like this razor and it works well for my skin type – not too aggressive. It has a great feel to it and is nicely weighted. Well constructed and will last for years I am sure. Would recommend!

A great design from bevel. A slim handle but weighted for easy shaving. Blade is completely enclosed and does not protrude on the edges reducing accidental cuts and nicks. I enjoy how mild the razor is. I have tried many blades in this razor and I find that I get a perfect shave every time now. My face was smooth after shaving. I paired it with a a Treet blade and gillette pro glide shave gel.

Holds very well, shaves close to the skin. Very minimal irritations, usually resolving right after applying some moisturizer.
