The packaging mimics the Braun packaging so I was surprised that it wasn’t the high quality product when I received th product and started shaving. This replacement head pulled some whiskers and required several passes to give an OK shave. I decided to be more careful on the Amazon screen and buy a genuine Braun replacement head. Money wasted.

This is not a genuine Braun product. I thought it would be close enough, but the quality is awful. Flimsy plastic, metal cracking, broke in less than 3 months!! Did not even give a close shave. Just spend the extra dollars and get the legit replacement head from Braun. I would not but this again and I don’t recommend you waste your money.

Been buying original Series 9 heads for years and decided to try a 3rd party one. The looks almost 100% identical (see photo) except this one is a shiny material and the original is a matte finish. This one weighs 13 grams the original 19 grams. so there is some difference in construction material. The big test is the shave. Had a 3 day old beard and this one gave me just as clean a shave as my original one. I did notice a small bit of pulling on my hairs because they are a bit longer than my usual 2 days. So if you want to save a few bucks upfront give this a try. No idea how long it will last (I get 7-8 months out of my original but on first test it works good.
