I receive this two days after I ordered it! Tried it right away and I was impressed. I had read the reviews stating the wax not great but decided to give it a go anyway. My first time using hard wax and because the instructions were clear I was successful. The only hiccup was when the wax was all melted an error message appeared. I turned it off and on again and reduced the temperature to 140. The consistency was quite liquid so I waited a little. Did a test on my arm then prepped with the pre-wax spray and went for it. I did my chin, my upper lip and my armpits. Omg it worked. It does sting but let’s face it it’s hit wax on skin and hair being ripped out so of course it’s going to sting and be red afterwards but the post-wax spray soothes your skin afterwards. I as nervous about doing my armpits but asked my daughter to help pull the wax while I held the skin tight. Holding the skin tight helps reduce the pain. At least for me. I’m very happy with my purchase but hope that the error message is no a sign that it is defective because I quite like this kit. I’m including a picture of the wax after it was used on my armpits. Warning I had let the hair grow just to wax it. LoL

I have used this wax machine for almost a year now. My friends and I both have used it . It works well enough for being my first time owning a home waxing kit . I wish the dials were a little more precise, but you learn what works best for you. I crank it all the way up to heat it then drop it down to maybe 140-160 for use. The only thing i recommend is , that you purchase wax beads separately . The ones that come with the kit work ok, but I question how “safe” they are , what with metallic pigments and all . Also the beads have strong odor. BUT .. I have sensitive skin and they didn’t bother me . All in all though , I vote to get your heads separately , and unscented . The smell of these can give you a headache and eye / throat inhalation irritation , seriously . **ANY STUCK WAX on the skin can easily be removed with olive oil . **
All in all, I am glad I bought this machine and it holds up well to regular home use . Recommend .

I’ll start this review by saying that I’m NOT a professional. I’m not experienced with waxing. I tried sugaring for the first time a few weeks ago and that made me decide I wanted to try waxing.
If you’ve never waxed before or had something waxed before, I don’t recommend starting in the bikini area. I did and after making myself bleed, I got scared and didn’t want to continue. Plus the area I made bleed still had quite a bit of hair on it after ripping the wax off. I walked around the house for a couple of hours with wax “down there” trying to work up the nerve to yank it off. I didn’t want to. So I decided to melt the rest of the wax off with a hair dryer. So a good tip is that if you ever get “stuck,” it WILL melt off with a hair dryer.
Next I tried my leg, which the hair wasn’t long enough to wax so I’m not mad that that didn’t work lol.
But then my armpits. I used almost an entire bag of wax to do my armpits. I wouldn’t say I’m super hairy, it just really left a lot of hair so I had to keep applying more wax. I did follow the directions and I also used baby powder, it didn’t matter. I still have a little bit of hair in my armpits now despite using almost the whole bag of wax on them. 🤦🏻♀️ It wasn’t super painful though which was a plus. I just wish the wax worked better.
More about the wax: It’s like plastic. It smells like melted plastic… I don’t smell any type of scent when I open the bag or when they start melting, it’s just burnt plastic. Also it’s super stringy. Also once they’re melted and you turn the warmer back down to the temperatures recommended, the wax gets pretty hard to work with. But with the higher temp to keep it melted, it’s way too hot for your skin (ask me how I know lol 😬).
The silicone pot it came with doesn’t technically fit in the warmer; it’s a lot taller. I didn’t take points off for that but I feel like it should fit better. The silicone spoon is nice.
I’ll definitely be trying a different brand of wax. I don’t not recommend this warmer, I just imagine there are better deals out there since I need to buy different wax for it.

If you’re like me, anytime you shave because you have thick hair, whether it be facial, legs or otherwise, shaving leaves behind ugly, irritated, painful razor bumps. And on top of that, while you’re hair is growing back, not even can you NOT handle the whisper of a kiss from the wind against these painful bumps but they’re just unsightly and prevent you from being able to save again until they heal.
In other words… between shaves, I look like Chubacca and Cousin It had a love child.
So I decided to try at-home waxing. Suring, I’ve had it done professionally before. $50 just for the legs and some stranger is looking at your bits every session. Not today Satan!
I haven’t tried it on my legs just yet, but I just did my chin and nostrils and the results speak for themselves. I’m smooth, red (but the redness will go away) but no ugly razor bumps! I have exceptionally sensitive skin and am allergic to coconut-anything. I can report that I had no reactions or unsightly rashes that have developed due to the materials used.
My nostrils did end up sacrificing a portion of my soul as I tore them puppies out of there but it was a small price to pay because I can BREATHE again! Yeah, nose hair is important but not when you’re constantly stuffed up, sneezing, it’s stretching it’s little hairy arms out of your nostril… That was no bueno.
This product is easy to use – coming from a first time at-home waxer. And I’m very satisfied with the results. Just read the directions and try small areas first to get a feel of handling the wax. It’s quite runny!

Ok, so as a cosmetologist for almost 20 years I’ve seen EVERYTHING! While I prefer sugar waxing or soft wax (with strips), my husband wanted to wax a few areas on his shoulders & back. Also, his neck area instead of having me constantly lining it up between cuts! Since it was only going to be used for a few things, I didn’t want to go to expensive. We have boys, so I’m really the only one who waxes regularly & usually do it at work! So I searched for an “at-home waxing kit” & decided to go with this product, the one with more& higher reviews!?!?!! …. I wasn’t spending much time on research, that was my mistake!
First off when I received the item, almost the ENTIRE bottle of “After Wax Solution” had leaked out. The bag was soaked… How?! I still don’t know because the flat top was screwed on tightly, and when I switched it over to the spray top nothing leaked! … but there was a small amount left to use, plus I had some from the salon!
Now onto the actual product!
Naturally before I use ANY new product, I try it out on myself first!! In my professional life, I won’t use anything on others I wouldn’t use on my own self!!! … So I started to let my leg hair grow out. Lucky for me, it was time for my eyebrows & lip anyways!
The set-up was really easy. I used the green wax beads, and it did wonderful on my brows & lip…. I will say I had to apply it thicker than with other products. I could only do this by just applying what was on the applicator, no spreading. But I thought no biggie, since it isn’t soft or sugar wax. I applied what little after-treatment solution I could, and it was soothing. Of course, the usual redness was there but no burning or anything of the nature after I put the solution on.
So I waited a few more days to do anything else. Meanwhile I was applying lotion 2× daily to help/speedy up hair growth! BTW, if you didn’t know, lotions (NOT Bath & Body Works) does in fact help hair growth… Especially around the eyes, EYE lotion does WONDERS for your eye lashes & brows! …. So anywho, after about a week, I heat the wax back up to do my legs & Bikini line… WORSE Mistake EVER!!!!
I did the front & side area of one of my lower leg…. the hair was definitely long enough, however it only removed half of the hair. I had to turn the heat well past the recommended temp to get it to actually spread. Which was quite hot on the skin, but nothing I couldn’t handle. It was quite annoying & I definitely don’t think most people could handle the wax being that hot! My skin has toughened over the many years of waxing!
The next day I went on & decided to do my bikini line. It actually removed most of it, but OMG the petechiae bruising immediately after!!!! I Attached a picture of that side, I dang sure wasn’t going to do the other side until I got to work & used soft wax! I then looked over the area of my legs where I had waxed & there was small bruising EVERYWHERE!!!
I don’t bruise easy, I’ve had more waxing than I could even try & count, and NEVER had this type of irritation/bruising …. I gave it 3 stars simply because it did good on my face & decided to just buy & do soft wax for my husband!

Be sure to learn the difference between soft and hard wax.
If you know what you’re doing it’s probably a good purchase. This was a first and last time using wax so maybe look at other reviews lol.

I’ve been using the product consistently for about two years now. It’s easy to use for beginners and saves time and money compared to going to a professional. Takes about 15-20 minutes to heat up, but it’s safe. I love it honestly, it took a bit of time to get used to it and doing it the right way, but it’s so much better than shaving, little to none ingrown hairs. And the before and after wax sprays really are a game changer, there’s a noticeable difference when I haven’t used them. 10/10 would recommend this product.
