Great quality, good battery, so-so features:

This product is very well made and is much more durable and better constructed than other UV toothbrush holders I’ve used in the past. The product has as great battery life that doesn’t require frequent recharging and displays the currently battery life on its digital screen so you’re never surprised when it runs out of juice and can charge it accordingly. The product’s features are very advanced and include a motion sensing cover, an automatic turning on of the fan / UV light every hour or so, and a clear countdown when that process is triggered about how long it will last. All of those features are very cool and useful, and so far have really impressed me.

    The one drawback:

The one thing (and it’s an important thing) that I would change about this product is that, when you put your toothbrush in and trigger the UV light / fan to sanitize the brush… once it’s done with the cycle the cover to the unit opens automatically, and stays open, until about an hour later when it closes again and repeats the process over… I love that the product continually activates the fan and UV light to keep re-sanitizing the toothbrush every so often, but really don’t like that the product opens itself between cleanings, as one of the biggest points of covering the brush in the first place is to protect it from the bacteria ridden air of the bathroom (you can look up what kind of particles float around in the air without me having to mention it here). This product was SO close to being a grand slam home run but that one features knocks it down to an RBI double.

Overall, this is still a good product and I would recommend.

So I wasn’t sure if this would work or not. What I can say is it must work because I have noticed less of an odor from my toothbrush.

It mounts to a mount that has an adhesive back. The mount is strong and secure. You can then remove the device when you need to charge it (USB-C cable included but not a power source.).

I like that it is hand free. You wave your hand infront of the device and it opens and closes. The UV lights shine and santize your brush. You can see this process and there is also a count down times.

    Overall, I would highly recommend!

    Does as advertised!!

This is a nice dual toothbrush sanitizer. It is rechargeable via USB C so there’s no proprietary cables to lose or travel with. I don’t have a way to test the germ level before & after so I will just have to assume it helps. Overall, this is a great idea to reduce germs, if it works. I hope someone with the ability to test it, will.

I have two other UV sterilizers for toothbrushes, both hold one brush, this one holds two brushes and has a fan to dry your brush. However, this one is very large 4 3/4 x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches and the mechanism is a bit complex. Normally sterilizers like this start when closed, run their time cycle and shut off. This one has a button which causes the cover to rotate and when you push the cover (something I discovered by trial and error,) it closes the door and starts the cycle. However, the door has a tendency not to completely close without help. Starting the cycle causes the fan to run and the UV light to start. The fan stays on longer than the UV light. It is rechargeable via a USB C port and comes with a USB A to USB C cable for charging. It also had instructions and an adhesive mount that you can place on a surface to hold the cleaner. When running it has a percentage countdown to completion on the display. I think they managed to value complications over function when it was designed, I would prefer a device that was easier to use and had less complication.

Although it’s very unique to run your hand over the sensor and have the door open or close, I will tell you that this doesn’t last for more than a couple of weeks and then it dies.

I want to first explain the mistakes I made when installing the mounting bracket, in the hopes that no one else will do the same.
The mounting bracket is flush on one side and indented on the other. The adhesive strip looked like it was meant to fit perfectly into the indented side, so that’s what I did at first. It seemed to attach to the mirror well, but then I couldn’t get the unit to slide down onto the base. Fortunately, because I had done this wrong, the adhesive did not firmly grip the mirror and I was able to remove it and fix it. The adhesive goes on the flush side, and the indented side is where the mechanical unit slides onto.
I chose the far left edge of my bathroom mirror to install this Bitvae toothbrush cleaner, hoping this would be a good spot where I would not accidentally trigger the door that automatically opens and closes with the wave of your hand when it is close enough to the sensor. Well, I got that right. But I did not take into account the fact that the main unit, once attached to the bracket, actually sits further down. And once that adhesive is firmly applied, it’s not going anywhere. So, it’s sitting a little lower than I would have liked. Not a big deal, and entirely my mistake.
OK, with that out of the way…
I have 2 battery operated toothbrushes sitting in there. As far as I can tell, the bristles need to be facing the back of the unit in order for the UV light to do its job. Place the toothbrush bristles first. When you’re ready, wave your hand in front of the unit and it will close and begin the sanitizing and drying process. You will see a countdown on the display, beginning with 99. The UV light stays on until it reaches 80 seconds, at which point you can hear a low humming sound which is the drying process. This continues for the remainder of the countdown. Left alone, this will repeat every 8 hours.
The slots that fit the toothbrushes do not hold them very tightly, so I do find that the brushes will occasionally move around a bit and the bristles will not always be facing the back. Perhaps if I had a different sized toothbrush this would not be an issue.
I also have found that after 2 drying cycles the bristles are still damp, so I don’t think the drying aspect is working all that well.
So that leaves the UV cleaning function, and I’m not sure what to say about it. This is my first experience with any sort of UV cleaning device, so I did a little digging on the web to see if the science behind it is legit. It appears to be. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to be keeping my toothbrushes any longer than mu usual 3 months.
In all, I do like storing my toothbrushes this way. The sensor works very well and the door always opens and closes fully. It does a little drying, though I’m not sure it’s any better than air drying. And I’m trusting that the blue light is actually doing some cleaning.
