Started using this in place of rodan and fields and have saved a ton of money!

I was taking this medication and stopped. I noted I started suffering from what looked like heat rash after. I was using this rash cream from the dermatologist to help it but it will still come back. My pores were also big so I decided to give this a try since it was recommended for sensitive skin. So happy I purchased this. Its been about two months and my pores are much smaller and the tiny bumps are no longer there. And since this is pure liquid like water consistency a little goes a long way. I use once a day and still have half a bottle left. Highly recommend

I’m a 24 year old female who recently developed hormonal acne in the form of an EXTREMELY congested T-zone (white heads/blackheads everywhere), including my cheeks and the sides of my face. I also have huge pores on my nose/cheeks. I’ve only been using this product for 5 days but it has done more to improve my comedogenic acne than anything, including a topical retina prescribed by my doctor and numerous facials with an esthetician. It essentially got rid of a LOT of the bumps (black/white heads) all over my face and brought to the surface congested material. I still have bumps along my skin but (hopefully) those will soon go away as well. What’s left on my skin are VERY stubborn areas (ie along my cheeks) that are probably going to take more than 5 days to disappear. I accidentally bought both the extra strength and regular and have mostly used the regular. I used the extra strength on a couple of stubborn pimples and it was fine and didn’t dry me out. Both are also AMAZING for body acne. I used it on my chest, shoulders, and back and it cleared up ALL my body acne in less than 5 days. My experience with congested skin/huge pores is that less is more, but doctors often prescribe retina which is WAY too harsh for comedogenic acne in my opinion. With retina, I was in a constant cycle of eliminating black/whiteheads, dehydrating my skin, getting more clogged pores because my skin is dehydrated, and so on. With this salicylic acid treatment, I DON’T get dehydrated (or, I do, but it is a level of dehydration that is normal and can be solved by using the product every other night/using moisturizer with it). I think part of why I’m not dehydrated on this product is because I use it minimally on my face/more like a spot treatment than a toner. I put some on a cotton ball and dab it on problem areas and dab it very lightly on less problematic areas.

If you have comedogenic acne, I would also ABSOLUTELY recommend The Ordinary Niacinamide. In just a couple of days it has shrunk my pores IMMENSELY and reduced redness. It also controls my oil production.

I have oily skin and this product absolutely works. Bumps are gone even skin tone and didn’t dry my skin. Paula’s Choice products are amazing.

I was shocked it actually worked. I use the face wash as well and it did good but once I added this my skin hardly ever breaks out now. I take my makeup off with a Beekman milk wash and then use the Paula’s exfoliant and then the Paula face wash. Then I use Beekman RX moisturizer. My face never has zits anymore. It’s amazing!

This stuff is AMAZING. I use it with the Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser and my really sensitive skin isn’t irritated by it. Physical/abrasive exfoliants (including my Clarisonic w/ a sensitive skin brush and less expensive knock-offs) leave me with red patchy skin… I do use my brush a of couple times a week at night but with this, I don’t have the same kind of flaky skin even in the dry winters. My flaky/ oily/dry/blotchyskin that was constantly broken out, I had a breakout that wouldn’t clear up for over a month in the same spot & bumpy skin texture and horrible blackheads have cleared up. It’s also lightened old acne scars.

I’ve tried tons of other products before this. New things, things I used in the past that have cleared my skin up when I was in my teens and early-mid 20s all w/o luck. I’ve been hearing about this stuff for a few years now in skincare groups and it gets great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did finally. I’m super protective of my bottles of this.

Worth the extra bit of money. I spent so much more looking for something that would work until finding this.

The 4 stars isn’t a problem w/ the product. My problem is the bottle it’s in. I went out of town the day after I got it, so the bottle was basically full when I packed it. I could tell it leaking was going to be an issue if I didn’t tape it up.

Both on the way to where I went and for my return flight, I duct taped it so much that getting it off took about 10 minutes. I made a seal inside the lid, taped every gap from the bottle to the cap, taped the cap shut, etc., and it STILL leaked. Before I left for my return flight, I had 2/3 bottle left. Got home, unpacked, I’m at 1/2 bottle or slightly less.

I’m pretty irritated to have spent a going amount of money for it and then travel, tape it so there’s no way it should leak, but in a 5 days I have 1/2 bottle left because of it. It may work awesome but I’m sure there’s other products that do and don’t leak all over.

I’ll post a picture of how much I taped it and it still leaked.

(Edited to add stars because I love the product, it’s one of the few things that keeps my skin clear — just beware when you travel & buy an empty travel size bottle & fill that up and pack it instead. I travel pretty often so I needed a solution, that works great. 🙂 Still rating 4/5 because of the bottle.)
