I had been looking for a different chemical exfoliator and ran across this. I’m so glad that I tried it! I use it as a serum in the evening and under moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and has caused no irritation.
I love that you can also seal this by twisting the top and protecting it from the air. Skincare is very personal so this may not work for everyone but so far, I do love it. I have dry/combo skin that does not tend to be sensitive. Time will tell how well this continues to work but so far I love how it layers with the rest of my routine and it comes from a brand that I love.

I rotate the serums I use at night depending on what my skin is needing. I typically use a bakuchiol/vitamin c at night, and maybe something less intense if my skin needs a break. I figure with AHA this might be on the more “intense” level of serum, but it’s pretty mild.
The bottle is packaged nicely, and I prefer pumps to droppers so that’s good. While it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any residual discomfort, I find that it has a gritty feeling on application. It’s not a huge deal, I assume it’s the oat in there.
This isn’t the cheapest serum, but I like how mild it feels for an exfoliating serum. Expensive, but if you have the money, definitely try it out.

I normally don’t do a lot of mess and fuss with my face and facial products, mostly for the time involved. I’m very happy with this serum, though. For the price you do get a lot of product. It is light, not too greasy or heavy, although yes, I can feel it after I put it on. It’s also got some sparkly stuff in it, puts a little bit of glow on your face – very satisfied with this serum!

I really love this serum and it has made a noticeable difference in my skin texture in just the couple of weeks I’ve been using it. I’ve actually had some bad reactions to this brands products before, but decided to give this a go. Luckily, my sensitive skin hasn’t reacted at all to using it every other day, and I am really glad I gave this a try. The bottle, as with all of herbivores products, is super cute and the product works great. While it is pretty moisturizing, it also doesn’t sit heavy on my face and while I use it at night, I did try it once under makeup and didn’t notice any negative effects from using this first and applying makeup after letting it absorb. Would definitely recommend and I plan on keeping this in my skincare routine.

I have really been enjoying using this AHA and oat soothing and exfoliating serum. The serum has a milky consistency and applies beautifully to my skin. I love that it exfoliates and promotes cell turnover but the serum formula also feels great on my skin. It also has a very light fragrance that I find to be pleasant and not overbearing. The bottle itself is somewhat iridescent milky colored glass, which is also pleasing to look at and hold. Overall, I really like this product and would recommend it to others.

So, first things first, this serum is beautifully packaged. The bottle is a really pretty iridescent glass and you bet it is staying out on my counter. Which is good, because it’s now my go to for gentle exfoliation. It does tingle a little, but it has not dried my skin out at all, or caused any irritation, even with very frequent (near daily) use. I have pretty sensitive skin that tends to get red and flaky with any over use of chemical exfoliants, and there’s been none of that with this. At first I was worried that meant it wasn’t strong enough and it wasn’t working, but my skin texture is improving, with my pores being slightly less visibly congested after a few weeks of use. It is definitely pricey, but you don’t need to use much. If it keeps up this performance I’ll be making it a regular part of my skincare routine.

It’s a lot for me to leave 5 stars on a skin care product and this one is definitely worth it in my opinion. It’s gentle yet effective. I have really sensitive skin and often exfoliating products burn long after the treatment, but this one works well and doesn’t leave my skin burning afterwards.
It’s gentle so it’s more of a cumulative effect and has the best results with repeated use to keep your skin free of dead skin build up. Because of my other products that work (but are too strong for me) I tend to let the dry dead skin build up more than it should because I don’t like the burn, but this I can use it everyday or every other day and have fresh skin without pain. Which not only makes my skin look fresh and younger, it makes other anti-aging products work better because they are more easily absorbed without the dry dead skin. Hooray!
