Had it for one year, was already having issues with losing vibration intensity in time and then it completely died

Love sonicare toothbrush. Can’t imagine not having one. Replace every time they die. This is number 11 I’ve bought from Amazon since 2003.

  3. Amazon Customer

on time and as advertised, thanx

This brush is great…when it works. My first brush failed after about a year. Philips replaced it. Pretty decent customer service, but it took a few calls. I’ve now had my second replacement brush for 10 months, and it has also failed in the exact same way. The technology is based on vibration in the brush head post which is transferred to the brush head – hence the “Sonicare.” When it fails, the brush head post gets really loose, and all the vibration stays in the handle. This makes it completely ineffective for brushing. I’m not sure if it was a discontinued unit, and they just sent me a left-over off the shelf. I say this since it was delivered in a mailer without packaging. The newer models might have corrected the issue. If yes, why risk another terrible customer experience? Needless to say, I will not go for a third round.

After using a Braun/Oral B electric toothbrush for over 10 yrs, I decided to try this Philips, recommended by a friend. Despite good oral hygiene, including flossing, I have plaque build up & have to see my dental hygienist every 4 months. I have only used this sonic toothbrush for a few days, but I am so happy with it!
I am amazed at how smooth & clean my teeth feel after using it. I do have some sensitivity from the vibration, but I think I just need to get use to that. It is light weight & slim, nice since I have small hands. It is not noisy. I can’t attest to the battery life, since I have not had it that long. But, I do like that after using it the green light stays on for a few seconds to let you know it is still fully charged. You need to know that it is charged with a USB cord, not the typical plug in wall outlet. I just use my outlet adapter from my iPhone. It does have a timer, that quietly beeps when you have brushed for 2 minutes. Overall, I am really happy with this product & anxious for my next dental visit to see if there is significant improvement with my plaque issue.

Perfect toothbrush for daily use!! Base is small enough to keep on the sink, but still out of the way. I keep the toothbrush on the charger daily and it’s always fully charged and ready to use. Stays clean and wipes down easily. Toothbrush head is easy to replace. I have taken this on vacation for 5 days and it held its charge the entire time!!

Bought to replace a Phillips Snickers toothbrush I had for many years. Replaced with the same brand since I was so happy with previous model. This one is lighter, quieter and seems to have better battery life. Dental hygienist tells me how great my 70-year-old teeth look and what a great job I am doing with brushing! Sonic are works!!

  8. Rach

Bought it for occasional use and was surprised how weak it is compared to my other one bought from Costco. Costco sells two for maybe $120. I know they’re different versions but just quite surprised how different they are.

  9. Happy One!

I have been brushing with a Phillips Sonicare for at least 8 years, I got one of their newest models at the time. It stopped working about 2 weeks ago, so I bought a cheap battery operated $5 job at a store to get me by till I could get another Philips. That cheaper battery operated thing they call a toothbrush, did such a horrible job, I had to get a new Philips as my teeth and gums started bleeding from the poor brush job this other thing was doing. Yes, the brushes can be a little pricey, but you cannot even compare to other brushes you can get for less money. Dental care is not cheap, so investing a little extra in a brush like this will save you money and lots of pain in the future. This brush is not the same a
Model I got several years ago, but it is so much more advanced and know that in 10 years when this one stops working I’m not going to mess around, I am just going to buy a new Philips. By then they will have a model that brushes your teeth for you!! LOL

Absolutely love it. Never had such a good electric toothbrush. Battery is long last for weeks. Perfect feeling having clean teeth 😁

  11. GBK

I needed to replace an existing Phillips toothbrush which had lasted a good number of years and the reviews for this were good. It’s slightly smaller than my old one but it’s actually a nice size. It’s also a lot quieter than the old one. Battery life so far is matching the old one which was brilliant.

Smaller & slimmer than previous Phillips toothbrush, does the job just as good…. A good buy👍
