Since Norelco decided not to market HQ200 bottle to the retail market, I was on the hunt for a viable alternative. I came across Shaver Shebang and figured why not. The bottle arrived in a timely fashion. Its advertised as a pleasant citrus scent, Nope barely any scent. The first thing I noticed after using it is my razor although clean, drags. Whereas both cleaners claim to lubricate I found the Shebang not to be as good a lubricant. Overall can not complain since Norelco did what they did

I’ve not noticed any difference between this and the stock jet clean solution I used to buy. Fill up the bin half way, put in some distilled water for the rest and my razor gets clean!
I’ll definitely go this route in the future.

I switched from Norelco’s cleaner to Shaver Shebang to save money. After 2 months my Norelco 9000 started to run slower, so I removed the head and examined the cutters. they were coated with a rusty substance. I attempted to clean them with the Norelco cleaning brush. No luck, so I ordered a replacement set of cutters. My razor runs and cuts MUCH better and runs faster.
Use caution, and watch your own razors performance to avoid issues.
